This Week's UK X360 Top 20 Charts

Sniper: Ghost Warrior

It's Twilight Zone time this week in the charts, as two lacklustre titles make an impact while much better ones tumble or vanish without a trace. Yes, both Sniper and Naughty Bear sell a bucket load this week.

Biggest shock of all perhaps, is Sniper: Ghost Warrior nabbing the top spot from Red Dead Redemption, when we expected Modern Warfare 2 to make a move for number 1. That falls to number 4, while Sniper becomes the best-selling Xbox 360 game for the week ending August 14th.

Further down the charts, Forza 3 goes from being at number 10 last week to being absolutely nowhere this week, while Naughty Bear climbs eight places from the bottom of the top 20, to number 11. Lost Planet 2 also jumps up 10 places back into the top 20 and Alpha Protocol makes a re-entry too.

Finally, Madden NFL 11 makes a most respectable debut at number 3 in the charts, indicating a strong following for the sport in the UK, possibly fuelled by the rather decent TV show, Friday Night Lights. Maybe.

Next week, Kane & Lynch 2 steal a nice position in the charts.

	I keep picking Sniper:GW up in the shop and then putting it down in favour of something else, it just doesn't grab me like a number 1 should.I think i'll borrow it from a friend now though

	Sniper isnt the best game, but certainly not the worst one I've played. Just feels unfinished, and yes the mp's all about hiding in a bush

	Bah John Marston has been knocked off the top by some sniper and in 4th place....yes ... it's MW2! and the million dollar question is....Who STILL doesn't have MW2? you guess is a good as mine.

	I cant decide whether to get Sniper or not. In most games sniping is fun for all of 5 minutes then it gets boring.

	Not normally one for slow paced shootings or pitching a tent on a mountain, but after too much BF:BC2 on hardcore, sniping has kinda grown on me. So kinda tempted to try it...any opinions on the game? Also, HOW IN THE HELL has naughty bear made it up there? I swear that has sold on name and name alone....

	#10, free DLC always increases sales. thats probly why and you can get a new copy for about 20 pound, so theres an added bonus.

	ALot of those "ok" games have just gone into the sale section at most high street chains plus it's the school holidays. Hence why they've sold more and seem to be climbing the charts

	I've seen 1 person playing the sniper game, But achievements on it are easy and it just makes less snipers play better games.

	First of all how is MW2 higher than BF:BC2, they should switch spots BF is clearly the better game. Also I don't think the fifa games or cricket game would make the list if it was anywhere else other than the UK.

	U know there's a drought when a game like Sniper can take top spot... either that or the entire 5 yr old population of MW2 saw the title and couldn't stop themselves

	I kept picking up SNIPER: GHOST WARRIOR but decided not to get it. Then I was in the Asda Super Store and found it brand new for only £20 so I decided to go buy it, still have yet to play it but it certainly looks good.

	That is surprising that Red Dead isnt at the top, Like a lot of people I have played it and think its a great game but to me, its just GTA IV western style, which is fine in its own right but from Rockstars line up, my favorite has always been San Andreas. I will admit one thing, its better then MW2 being at the top any day

	Madden makes a respectale 3rd you say, but looking at it hardley any games must have been sold this week at all so basically it makes a fairly crap 3rd , being the only new game there it should be first. nevertheless in 4 weeks time we get a new game that can dominate the top spot till blackops comes out anyway

	Just to clarify, Sniper: GW is NOT THAT GOOD. Average at best and worth it if you like getting whopping achievements in one hit
