| Seems like a great deal for the people who still need to pick this up. Luckily with the Deal of the Week most DLC is greatly reduced so it's only a difference of €15 or so when I include Golems of Amgarrak. |

Considering the fact the DLC alone costs nearly $80 so far for all of it (ignoring this month's discount), I have been turned off to trying this game out (I haven't played this or Mass Effect, but whatever) because I'd want all the DLC, but I am not willing to spend $80 or even $40 on all that digital stuff. Not to mention, I have like no space on my HD. I'd like to conserve as much as possible. If this is real, color me interested. |

That is why dragon age is deal of the week... Anyways might pick this up held back on this game because of all the dlc that was being released not sure if I want this or Fable 3. Probably will go for this as it will have a ton I mean a ton of gameplay on this. With the original game on here the expansion and the dlc packs that was released were talking about 120 hours of gameplay for the same price as a normal game! |

When a game is re-released with all the DLC attached, didn't it used to be called "Game of the Year Edition"? Unless they are changing this, then we might be looking at something else completely... although it wouldn't make sense to re-release the core game on its own in a super uber edition this late after the initial release... |

@ 24 No. The DLC Included Force Unleashed was also called the Ultimate Edition. I think it depends on the publisher. |

| I am shocked that EA would let Bioware do this, what with EA's plan to kill the used games market I thought the DLC would be marketplace only(Awakening on a disk was understandable it was pretty big), but unless this comes with a code(meaning only LIVE users can play it) it would start unraveling there plans, I mean the DLC doesn't take long (with Awakening 2 days tops)and if it's install many people will buy it, install it and take it back the same day like with the Fallout 3 and Oblivion GotY editions, seems stupid for EA to say yes to this IMO, but good for everyone who was too cheap to support Bioware to begin with. |

@24 Well to be honest too many games call them the "Game of the Year" edition even when they didn't win Game of the Year, it's better to have a title like Ultimate Edition, and leave Game of the Year edition to games that actually win it. |
|

@26 I think they will go with the redeemable codes inside the box, much like Fable II GOTY. I am one of those cheap person that didn't support Bioware from the start with Dragon Age, but only because I don't like to play an "incomplete" version of a game. Apparently, this Ultimate Edition will do just fine for me :) |

| This works out so well! I bought warden's keep and return to ostagar on my brothers account so that when we no longer live together that'll be a pain..and if they do redeemable codes I can give him the ones I already have :) not to mention I traded this game in foolishly for skate 3 and could use another copy. |

Loved Dragon Age but only bought the Warden's Keep DLC to acquire the Starfang sword. The rest of the DLC was a bit too expensive considering the reviews were mainly negative. I've got 1100G I think so I wouldn't mind getting this to earn the rest of the Gamerscore and jump back into Middle Eart... I mean Ferelden. I've also never understood these Game of the Year Editions, I mean how can more than one game win Game of the Year. So Ultimate Edition is fitting. Did Borderlands win GotY? If not, expect to see an Ultimate Edition or something like the Complete Eridian Edition. |

| Thank god, Ive been holding off on this game in hopes that I could get the DLC in one nice package and not have to buy all these pieces. I hope this is true. I wouldnt be surprised if they did something where the DLC had a one time code that activated it for you though. |

@31 Maybe that was an european thing only, then? Actually, I was wrong: there weren't any codes inside the box, but rather I was able to download a "special" free DLC version of both expansions (Knothole Island and See The Future) by going to the downloadable content section from the game menu. |

| @33 - My Fable II Platinum Hits also had both DLC right on the disc ; that seems really strange. Especially since the free downloads are available to all players, I think / thought. (They are just previews, not full contents - you can see the fully priced DLC right next to each free one.) |

My bad for / if double post - The actual topic: The Stone Prisoner came with my original copy, then I paid for the Warden's Keep and Return to Ostagar DLC, and lastly bought Awakening. I'll still be waiting / on the look-out to see if this "Ultimate Edition" truly comes out and actually has all the DLC I'm missing, but then it's gonna be a comparison of which would cost less money - downloading the rest of the DLC or selling / trading in to get this full package. I prefer to have "full packages," but if the largest thing is Awakening - (which I already have) - then it's just gonna be a wait and see ; and even then, I'd prefer for the content to be on-disc and not some insert code (I won't like that my download history shows DLC content I have then paid for a second time, lol!). |

|

Shame on me, you were right: the DLC is on the Fable II GOTY disc, I wrongly thought that it was still to be downloaded, but those were the DLCs for people that didn't buy the extra content and still wanted to play multiplayer. Back on topic, I'm fine with redeemable codes, as long as this Ultimate Edition will contain ALL the Dragon Age DLCs released... time will tell, I suppose :) |

| All of the DLC at regular price adds up to $53 US. It would definitely be worth it to wait for a GOTY or Ultimate edition or whatever it's going to be called. Guess that's what I'll do. That's what I did with Oblivion. |

I can't believe all of you cheap bastards, I bought DA:O and all subsequent DLC for it the day it is released and if wasn't for people like me you guys wouldn't be able to get an "Ultimate Edition" for it or any game for that matter. You all should be on your hands and knees thanking me and people like me for doing so. For those of you that are fans of Bioware (ME, ME2 & DA:O) and still wait for the "Ultimate Edition" you should be ashamed of yourselves for not supporting Bioware. |

I've been waiting for a price drop on this and it's now around £15 in the UK. However if this edition has Awakening with it and all the DLC. I'll buy it. I just have to wait a little more to see what price this will be for the UK and what I get for my cash before I buy it. |
