| Agree with 1 also, but don't like Skate either. I still think the old games like Tony Hawk Pro Skater, and THPS2 is better then these. Stopped being a fan since Tony Hawk Underground, didn't like it at all. |

| I brought Ride to try it out, was the biggest waste of time in my life. Luckily had it under a return policy and got my money back, will never play another tony hawks game again, lost all its appeal after underground. |

The last great Tony Hawk game IMO was American Wasteland. After that, it all just became so... mediocre.
I think that the best game of the franchise was THUG2. I logged so many hours on the GC trying to find gaps and fooling around. THPS3 is a close second.
And snowboarding??? Since when did Tony Hawk SNOWBOARD? |

Still got my Thps1-2 laying around in their packages, its sad to see neversoft kill the series year after year.
The thug1 game were not bad seeing as it was cool doing the rise from underdog to godlike famewhore, It just went horrible when it turned into jackass skate |

| and, stop making these shitty-ass games. Skate will always conquer! tony hawk lost it's jazz after THPS3, which was also the best one in my opinion. the only game since then, that was remotely good, was project 8. end. |

THUG 1 + 2 and THPS4 were the best. The first 3 were pretty amazing, THAW was OK. I only played Project 8 through once and the one after that I barely played. It had COMPLETELY changed. Pity really, I used to just replay and replay these games like no tomorrow. Will not buy this.
Agree @10. If they re-made some with updated graphics - I'd buy. |

RIDE looked god-awful. And let's be honest, Skate wipes the floor with TH these days. Snowboarding? Pft, it's a skateboarding game, thus should only need skateboarding, not snowboarding or BMXing . . . !

Sure. When they release an SSX game on the 360, they'd be awesome. 'till then, though, this is the only Snowboarding game we've got. >>
And, yeah. I used to love this series back on the PS2. But now, everybody's talking about Skate, and I find out that the last Tony Hawk game failed miserably.
Well, time will tell. As of right now, though, Skate has Isaac Clarke in it. It's already ahead in my books, just because of that. |

@24 Actually we have Shaun White's Snowboarding from Ubisoft, but that's it.
I remember Proving Ground wasn't that bad, but it should go back to the old style of the original games.
I was hoping this would ditch the stupid plastic skateboard thingy, but I guess not. Oh well skipping this one then. |

I used to love playing all the THPS games, but Tony Hawk games now are just terrible. They've gone way downhill when American Wasteland hit.
If this game has Create-A-Park I'll get it... but that's the only thing I like about these games now. |

| All I ever hear is "tony hawk has been shit since THUG" and I'm sick of it, in all honesty THUG is when it started being good. Bigger maps, crazy-ass character customization, story/narrative driven, and there was no timer (not counting classic mode), It was way ahead of its time. Plus THUG 2 was pretty much Jackass: the game, I loved it! Every game had great new additions (BMXing was great, and the art style changes were always good). Was I the only online PS2 gamer here? You don't remember going online and glitching the shit out of maps (custom or pre-made)? Gameshark allowed glitching, the options and game-play became endless. |

| This series has been stale since Project 8 (Ride is the worst thing to happen to it though). Developers boxed it in and got rid of all the good stuff mentioned above. Sure Tony Hawk sucks now but at one point it dominated the market, and you all seem to forget why (and I guess so do the developers). They need to go back and do something like THUG again, anything before that is a waste unless it’s on XBLA. We need some BMX games, or throwing it in like they did in THAW would be a good idea. The only Snowboarding game I've ever liked is SSX, so we need SSX 5 on 360 already. |

All the people who are saying this series should just die, you do realise this is an Activision product right? They don't let series die, they flog them forever.
My favourite in the series was THUG2 for classic mode - brilliant stuff, but the story mode was crud. |
