Things are starting to pick up a little bit as we come out of the summer lull and begin to work up to an explosion of pre-Christmas gaming goodness.

This week is most definitely American sports week though, what with Madden NFL 11 being released everywhere but Asia, who instead get a late dose of a different American pastime in the shape of Major League Baseball 2K10. Yes, that is last year's version.

It's still relatively quiet however, so expect a few more weeks like these before the big September/October madness begins. Until then, save them pennies and that.

Next week - Kane & Lynch come to the party.

@14 i want it this year aswell, my fave madden was 05 and then 06 on the original xbox not the 360. Maybe im in a sports game mood bcos im hyped for nba 2k11 with MJ!! but its either i get madden or pre-order halo... mhm

Haven't played a Madden since '02 on the Xbox. Actually enjoyed it for a while, which is surprising considering I find American Football boring as hell normally.

I'll stick with the Red Dead DLC, and hoping that the Mafia 2 demo will be awesome.

And MLB 2k10 is the newest release. They release 2k11 when the 2011 season starts next March/April

@26 & 28 im not flaming but football is huge in the states so its like a annual rape of the consumer with these madden games, similar to when they release a rugby or soccer/football game here. like 2% of the US pop gives a shit
