shame mass effect 2 doesnt have DLC rolling out every month :( (wen i say DLC i dont mean weapon or armour packs)Wednesday, July 28, 2010 @ 03:56 AM
Hopefully wont be over pricedWednesday, July 28, 2010 @ 03:58 AM
I like Mass Effect, but not so much medieval stuff. You think this might be worth picking up a second-hand copy of?Wednesday, July 28, 2010 @ 04:02 AM
@3 not too sure. i love mass effect, but i couldnt get into this. try waiting abit longer so it comes down in price abit moreWednesday, July 28, 2010 @ 04:18 AM
#3 I only picked up Dragon Age a few weeks ago I got it second hand for £11 and completely fell in love with it, it is a fantastic game and more DLC is great! MORE MASS EFFECT DLC! DAMN!Wednesday, July 28, 2010 @ 04:20 AM
I really want to play this game, but I don't feel like shelling out 6,000 MS points for all of the DLC. Hopefully a special edition will be released before Dragon Age II comes out containing all of the extra content.Wednesday, July 28, 2010 @ 04:25 AM
Soon, they won't be able to make any more DLC (with achievements, anyway) for this. 69 achievements and 1550 GS so far. They can only add 11 more achievements and 200 GS, due to the cap restrictions. I wonder if a GOTY version will come out before the sequel. I'd love to get this and give it a try, but it amounts to over $100-something if you get it and all the DLC.Wednesday, July 28, 2010 @ 04:34 AM
I've already got all the DLC so guess I'm going to have to get this one too. Glad to hear that its going to be harder. The last lot of DLC have been way too short.Wednesday, July 28, 2010 @ 05:14 AM
noooooo please no more dlc T_TWednesday, July 28, 2010 @ 05:20 AM
Sweet keep the Mas Effect 2 and Dragon Age Origins DLC coming, this is great news, made my day...so happy Woot!Wednesday, July 28, 2010 @ 05:42 AM
Awesome, I'm just about to finish awakenings, giving me 100%, until this comes out! Love me some Dragon Age :)Wednesday, July 28, 2010 @ 05:56 AM
awesome bioware. and im not worried about the price cause they've done great so far and i believe liliana's song was a great deal and could've been 800 points if they wanted too. as soon as i get awakening this will be 100% completion for me.Wednesday, July 28, 2010 @ 05:57 AM
Fantastic news! Can't wait for another excuse to play!! (after my second run through of Mass Effect 1)Wednesday, July 28, 2010 @ 06:48 AM
No more DLC for me until the Patch is releasedWednesday, July 28, 2010 @ 06:48 AM
I was able to buy a house from all the money I saved not buying ME and DAO DLC :)Wednesday, July 28, 2010 @ 07:36 AM
SO much dlc and so far behind guess just wait till they all go on sale....Wednesday, July 28, 2010 @ 08:01 AM
I still haven't finished Awakenings or Darkspawn, haven't even bought Leliana's Song DLC.Wednesday, July 28, 2010 @ 08:42 AM
... ill pass, and seeing how they make money with the dlc for dao and me2, ill bet there wont be any goty edition of those games.. :(Wednesday, July 28, 2010 @ 09:05 AM
Its a sad day..I bet this DLC will cost 1200 points....getting in the 1200 MSP band weagon that everyone seems to be riding these daysWednesday, July 28, 2010 @ 09:39 AM
I own Dragon Age and haev yet to finish the campaign. I have two of the DLC's because I wanted the Party Chest Storage and Shale. Other than that, I just need to find the time to finish the actual game first before I start any DLC's.Wednesday, July 28, 2010 @ 09:51 AM
Are they gonna release anyhting that perhaps uses the character that you made or are they gonna keep pumping out these one-off little episodes?Wednesday, July 28, 2010 @ 09:54 AM
Great, I want the DLC but currently it'll cost me 5200 MSpoints to get all that I don't have. Oh well, at least this might be the next 1750 game.Wednesday, July 28, 2010 @ 11:02 AM
I want to play as my character, not a dwarfWednesday, July 28, 2010 @ 11:15 AM
Just picked up Awakening yesterday. Figured DLC was done on Dragon Age. At this point, I would recommend people wait for a GOTY edition. It will cost 6320 MSP ($79) for all the DLC, plus whatever this is priced at (likely 560). At $70, a GOTY edition would definitely be worth it.Wednesday, July 28, 2010 @ 12:22 PM
Did no one else read that it's costing just 400 points? I'm looking at you, #19.Wednesday, July 28, 2010 @ 12:25 PM
Yes! The more Dragon Age, the merrier!Wednesday, July 28, 2010 @ 12:31 PM
Damn! I'm sitting on 395 MS points! How the hell am I 5 off?! Now I have to go buy more. Ugh . . .Wednesday, July 28, 2010 @ 12:36 PM
This'll no doubt come with 100g in achievements, leaving room for one more DLC of simialr size, then hopefully that'll be that.Wednesday, July 28, 2010 @ 12:40 PM
awesomeWednesday, July 28, 2010 @ 12:49 PM
its a shame, i got 1550 in this game and was hopin it would be the end. Now they're coming out with EVEN MORE DLC and i still only have 1055 in ME2 which i like way betterWednesday, July 28, 2010 @ 01:20 PM
Waiting for GOTY...there is no way I can start this game now, not with so much DLC. I'd rather pay $70 in a few months and play it while waiting for the sequel to go down in price. Although with the current trend I'll have to wait another year or two to get the sequel because of the DLC that will come out for it. Damn you Bioware. Damn you.Wednesday, July 28, 2010 @ 01:35 PM
Just when I planned to get Awakening this weekend....guess I'll need to get this too. Can't wait to see the achievements for it.Wednesday, July 28, 2010 @ 01:41 PM
Mast Effect People just shut up its not the same game! Yeah DA keep going all the way to 1750G baby!!!Wednesday, July 28, 2010 @ 02:15 PM
dear god i hope they dont start adding difficulty achievements. enemies are way to op with the hard mode cranked up, got owned in the first area by basic enemies...Wednesday, July 28, 2010 @ 02:16 PM
DA is a darn good game and worth every piece of DLC. I'll be picking this up when it drops.Wednesday, July 28, 2010 @ 02:22 PM
if there's achievements for it, i'll get it.Wednesday, July 28, 2010 @ 03:08 PM
Why won't they release one that actually uses the Grey Warden? I though they would get the idea that it was a stupid idea after the first time they tried it.Wednesday, July 28, 2010 @ 03:22 PM
#33 Congradumalations on being the first comment to (completely unnecessarily) flame about Mass Effect. I was just reading through the replies to my first comment, remarking on the incredible lack of flame and spam. If there's a demo for this, I'll look it up. I the meantime, I've got lots of books to get.. And a USB wireless internet connection.. and a USB bluetooth.. and a signal booster box.. and Borderlands DLC, considering the half-price this week.. and Mass Effect 2 DLC.. and Kane & Lynch 2. Jeeez. Okay. That's a reasonably big list. I'll be back in school by the time I'm finished that. I'll look this game up during the next break.Wednesday, July 28, 2010 @ 04:21 PM
i love how bioware make so much dlc its great to see this in developersWednesday, July 28, 2010 @ 05:02 PM
this is the treatment every great game deserves!!!Wednesday, July 28, 2010 @ 06:13 PM
Looks like we'll be getting 1750 GS in this game after all.Wednesday, July 28, 2010 @ 06:32 PM
Awesome. Hopefully the people without awakening will get a lvl cap boost if this is a 'High Level' quest, otherwise it may be a fair strugle. However looking foward to kitting my warden out with new gear :DWednesday, July 28, 2010 @ 06:55 PM
WAYYYY to much DLC for this game i dont have money to blow every month :o i just got awakening but ill still probably buy all the dlc within the next yearWednesday, July 28, 2010 @ 07:47 PM
I didn't really play this game much at first because I was finishing up college and ended up selling it to a friend of mine half price. With the way DLC has came out for this game, I may just wait for a GOTY edition to surface sometime in the future.Wednesday, July 28, 2010 @ 07:51 PM
DLC FTWWednesday, July 28, 2010 @ 08:22 PM
Bioware does care about their fans yay. but i prefere big add ons like awakening, but hey can't get your cake and eat it tooWednesday, July 28, 2010 @ 08:28 PM
For all the people complaining about the lots of DLC for this, don't get it. Not like Bioware is forcing people to buy it to finish the game. It's a GOOD thing that a company keeps adding content for there games. More content = good...not badThursday, July 29, 2010 @ 12:05 AM
I love Dragon Age so much but I'll have to wait a bit to get this one, still have to grab Darkspawn Chronicles and Leliana's Song.. Excited for the ME2 DLC coming but it sadens me that ME2 is still at 1055!! and this is already over 1500! I hope some big things come for mass effect 2.Thursday, July 29, 2010 @ 12:16 AM
jesus christ, i just started playing this game 2 days ago, the dlc never endsThursday, July 29, 2010 @ 04:20 AM
First they announce The Shadow Broker DLC for ME2, and now this? You are spoiling me, Bioware. Keep the quality high, and keep that DLC train a-rollin'!Thursday, July 29, 2010 @ 12:50 PM
Loving the DLC treatment BioWare is giving DA and ME 2, truly the geatest game company around, and I love how the DLC will also factor into DA II!!!!!Saturday, July 31, 2010 @ 11:23 AM
On the BioWare forums, a BioWare rep said there's an achievement for completing the expansion on Nightmare difficulty that is so challenging that many in-house gamers were unable to unlock it.Sunday, August 01, 2010 @ 01:19 AM
wow. i havent even played my copy of this game yet but i just got all the dlc for it accept for awakening. and now more!? plz hold off for awhile on the dlc bioware.Sunday, August 01, 2010 @ 01:27 PM
It will be worth getting, can't waitWednesday, August 04, 2010 @ 08:03 AM
does any1 know wt the new achievements will bee ??Tuesday, August 10, 2010 @ 03:57 AM
@ comment 47 I am a fan of DA most people are i'm sure but there probably achievement whores/hunters w/e, as well when they see a game complete they probably sell it and be happy at that. Though that inkling to finsish it again when more dlc comes out a month or so later can piss them off a good way to earn more dosh i'm sure but I find it unfair tbh achievements should only pop up when you play the actual game like an update so people who 'finished' it their way have no issues about it. Really it is uneccessary to do that with DLCs.

Finished 'Leliana's Song' yet? Good, because there's another dose of Dragon Age DLC on the way, called 'Golems of Amgarrak', which apparently kicks the difficulty up a notch, making it the hardest DA add-on chapter yet.
Obviously, the game will include large and challenging enemies, most likely in the form of the titular rock golems, and will primarily focus upon combat, although there'll be puzzles and treasures to unearth as always.
During 'Golems of Amgarrak', you'll follow Jerrik the dwarf on a search for Brogan, his lost brother. If it's a tough combat challenge you're looking for in Dragon Age: Origins, then 'Golems of Amgarrak' will scratch that itch. And the few new dungeon mechanics and new story elements with Jerrik and Brogan, won't hurt either.
[Update]
'Golems of Amgarrak' will be available from August 10th and will cost $5, or 400 Microsoft Points. Check out the lovely screen below.
