It looks like you'll be getting hold of one of Front Mission: Evolved's wanzer battle mechs a little later than expected, as Square Enix has announced that the game has been pushed from its previous September 14th launch date, two weeks later into the month and will now release on September 28th. This isn't the first delay of course, with Front Mission: Evolved originally scheduled for a spring 2010 release, the game was subsequently pushed into September. Square Enix haven't issued an explanation for this latest delay to Double Helix's more action-focused take on the Front Mission series. To ease the pain of waiting however, there are pre-order incentives available for Front Mission: Evolved, with advance purchases from Amazon, Best Buy or GameStop giving you access to two extra wanzer tanks - the "Calm" wanzer equipped for melee and long-range combat, and the "Rexon" mech, which is a sniper-class wanzer. Look out for Front Mission: Evolved on September 28th, 2010. [Via GameSpot] ![]() | |
