22 Mafia II Screens You Simply Can't Fuggedabout

Today's Mafia II screens have a bit of everything. Taken from 3 of the game's missions that feature as part of today's in-depth hands-on preview, we're treated to an explosion here and there, a wee bit of festive snow, or if snow isn't your thing, a smidgen of summer sun. We've got gun fights, car tuning, cheesy poses, car chases, oh, and a few more explosions.

If you've been living under a rather large boulder recently, you may have missed our huge in-depth Mafia II coverage, kicking things off at E3 with our first hands-on preview, followed by our interview with Alex Cox and Jarek Kolar, and even more recently, our monster hand-on preview of 3 of the game's explosive chapters.

Mafia II is scheduled for an August 24th and August 27th release in North America and Europe respectively.

Surely they are high-res PC shots? Hope the 360 version can get close to those graphics.

The demo from E3 was great, lasted about 5-10 minutes. The graphics looked good on both ps3 and 360.

This game is gonna be great, the original was amazing. Definitely a pre-order.
