Seriously, how are we going to play this with a controller?Monday, July 19, 2010 @ 10:58 AM
Yes because there are hardly any other Tower Defence Games on XBLA are there.....Monday, July 19, 2010 @ 10:59 AM
@1 Quite easily I would imagine. Using the analogue stick to move the cursor won't be that difficult.Monday, July 19, 2010 @ 10:59 AM
awsomesause. cant wait for thisMonday, July 19, 2010 @ 11:05 AM
I hope it comes out before Reach :)Monday, July 19, 2010 @ 11:07 AM
Got atleast 5 weeks to wait because of summer of arcade :(Monday, July 19, 2010 @ 11:13 AM
@2, yeah and defense grid auto collects coins while south park makes you run around to get them, which sucks. @3, that's going to be a mess collecting sunlight if so. I hope they don't mess it up.Monday, July 19, 2010 @ 11:13 AM
1200 points... Damn, was hoping it would be 800 like Peggle :(Monday, July 19, 2010 @ 12:32 PM
Sold. I never bothered with this game on all the other platforms it has been on, when I play games, it's only on the 360. And with a Co-op mode? Hell fucking yeah! I'm not that much into "Tower Defense" games but I do enjoy XBLA versions (Defense Grid, South Park, Toy Soldiers)Monday, July 19, 2010 @ 12:33 PM
20 dollars!?! Augh...Monday, July 19, 2010 @ 12:41 PM
@5 It's your lucky day, comes out in August =DMonday, July 19, 2010 @ 12:42 PM
$20 with Peggle and Zuma isnt too bad if you have never played those other games. I have however spent too much time on Zuma, completed Peggle on PC and DS, and also played the crap out of PvZ on PC. So I probably won't get this, especially as I don't see how they can make collecting the suns as easy and swift as with the mouse, which was half the game really...Monday, July 19, 2010 @ 12:57 PM
@12, I thought it was 20 bucks for EACH game, since it says "each" at the end of the sentence. Honestly though... 1200 points for PvZ is pretty ridiculous. It seems like games are starting to hit the mark where they're not 800 pts average anymore, it just keeps getting higher and higher. Unfortunately I'm going to have to wait for a sale on this game now.Monday, July 19, 2010 @ 01:04 PM
1200MSP? For Plants Vs Zombies? No thanks.Monday, July 19, 2010 @ 01:10 PM
Nnnnnnooooo :( why 1200 T.TMonday, July 19, 2010 @ 01:33 PM
@11...and I quote "early September 2010" most definately not AugustMonday, July 19, 2010 @ 02:15 PM
Why are they putting this on a disc with 2 games that are already on a disc? PopCap vols. 1 and 2. Double downers :o(Monday, July 19, 2010 @ 02:38 PM
PvZ was $20 on pc, although recently dropped to $10 on steam, but i thought it was well worth the $20 price tag, very fun game. Only thing is, i personally can't stand TD games on console, they are only good with a mouse and keyboard, same with RTS games. But ya, if it is anything like the pc version then it will be more than worth the 1200 point price tag, specially if it has extra features.Monday, July 19, 2010 @ 03:58 PM
Really should be 800 points. 1200 is a bit much... If it does turn out to be 800 i will consider.Monday, July 19, 2010 @ 04:02 PM
We need more Steam deals on XBLMonday, July 19, 2010 @ 04:12 PM
It is worth 1200 but it really should be 800, they will get more sales at the lower price point and make more money in the longrun. I'll still be getting it though.Monday, July 19, 2010 @ 05:06 PM
Whoa peggle alone is worth that 20 dollar package price. No game in the history on man has gotten me more peace and time AWAY from the gf as peggle. She was like a junkie. I love you pop cap may your magic work again!Tuesday, July 20, 2010 @ 12:45 AM
Meh, 1200 points.....especially when I paid 20 bucks for it on PC. I'll wait for a DOTWTuesday, July 20, 2010 @ 02:11 AM
Was gonna get this, but 1200 is a bit much, I;ll just wait until DoTW.Tuesday, July 20, 2010 @ 03:12 AM
@1 it worked on other tower defence games like South Park, FF Crystal defenders and others... Finally a release date!Tuesday, July 20, 2010 @ 05:12 AM

If you've been keeping an eye on our achievement updates, you'll have already cottoned onto the fact that Plants vs. Zombies' XBLA cheevos reveal that the game is set to introduce co-op and versus modes with Wall-Nut bowling and more planned for the game when it comes to Xbox 360.
That's not all though, with PopCap today announcing that the XBLA version of Plants vs. Zombies will be the most definitive yet, boasting all 50 levels alongside 21 new mini-games, 7 game modes and the two aforementioned multiplayer game types.
"The two new multiplayer modes allow gamers to work cooperatively to defeat hordes of invading zombies, or go head-to-head in a true 'plants vs. zombies' challenge. We're also featuring a customised 'house' for tracking and sharing progress as well as a total of 21 mini-games and 12 achievements, all designed to enthrall Plants vs. Zombies players once again," said Ed Allard, head of worldwide studios at PopCap.
What's more, PopCap is planning to release a retail bundle of Plants vs. Zombies, Peggle and Zuma, for a price of $19.99 RRP. Plants vs. Zombies is slated to rise from its grave in early September 2010 for 1200 Microsoft Points on the Xbox Live Arcade. Braaaaaaiiiinnnsss! etc.
