Does the Return of Borderlands' General Knoxx Signify New DLC?

On March 14th, General Knoxx went offline with his Twitter account, which was used as a marketing tool to promote Borderlands' third DLC add-on, The Armory of General Knoxx. Today, however, Knoxx has re-activated his account with "new orders" that have been "sent from the future".

This could hint at additional DLC on the cards for Borderlands, which for now is complete speculation of course, although it would make perfect sense to switch the Twitter feed back on to build up a bit of hype and plug some new content.

The General Knoxx Twitter page was restarted earlier today with the following message, "tap. tap. is this on? had to turn my tweetergramming machine back on. just got some new orders. (sent from the future.)" Knoxx then goes on to deliver a few choice insults to various followers.

Conclusion? Watch this space, folks.

I think it means GOTY Edition or w/e they'll call it. The game + all DLC for one low price. which I've been waiting for cause I have yet to pick it up.

hopefully they do the same as Batman AA did and do a goty edition on which you can get all the achievements again.

Even though its been a while, during a Take2 conference call earlier in the year about earnings, they did say there was a 4th piece of DLC in the works.

Hope it's more DLC. Love Borderlands, even the Moxxi's arena, which was admittedly slightly repetitive.

Underdome needs to go on sale immediately! It's the only thing I haven't done yet and based on what everyone says about it I refuse to pay 800msp. Maybe with this new possible DLC they'll have a sale...

i dont know of course im hoping for a 4th dlc... but it could just be an offical announcement of the goty edition... and not trying to spoil anything but he is gone after the 3rd... eh we'll see what happens

#34, just in case you weren't aware, there are quite a few weapons around that are modded, called "Stock" weapons. One hits every spot on Crawmerax, not to mention a shield that makes you basically invincible, giving you like 22 trillion health.

Anyway, I can't wait. It's been long enough for some dlc for this game again.

According to the Borderlands Wiki, there were going to have at LEAST one more DLC, so it would make sense that they are finally releasing it.
But I do hope they come out with a GOTY edition. Just for those who want it.
But was Borderlands a GOTY on anybody's list?

#39 yes borderlands definately was goty worthy in my eyes... with underdomes disappointment, the 3rd dlc completely took the underdome disappointment out of the game, and i even lost my 50 beserker to corrupted file, now having a 61 siren hunter and a high level beserker and soldier i was leveling up till i got ahold of basically all the pearls all the awesome oranges and even had a taste of the modded weapons... which in the end sucked the fun out of it, and as soon as rdr was released i havent touched borderlands since...

This was the only game i wasnt upset about losing my points for when i recovered my account onto my new xbox after playing offline for 2 months because i was too lazy to buy a usb for the slim :P the only reason i wasnt upset is because out of my 200 odd games, this is one of about 5 that i have played after beating the storyline. love love love it!! bring on new DLC!!! :)
