Yea I saw that tweet yesterday, and for 1 million kills I would hope there was an event in the story like "Detonate a huge ass bomb in the lambent kings winter home" or something like that lol, that yields tens of thousands of kills or something!

If it is going to be a million kills, I suppose it would be fair to assume that there will be sections where you can rack up lots of kills in a short space of time.

| I think a cool idea, but also to make it very challenging is to combine kills for the achievement. I think they should do, get 20,000 kills in multiplayer and 280,000 in campaign =300,000 seriously 3.0. Or something like that... |

| I doubt it will be a million kills just like I doubted Gears 3 would be released in Nov 10 to follow the 2 year trend. I'd like to see a combination of x amount of kills in multiplayer along with x amount of kills in all game modes. Perhaps Seriously 1.0 + 2.0 or something like that. |

| If Epic had any decency, they'd keep the 20x cap permanent. For those of us that CANNOT connect to Live, Veteran Gear is a HORRIBLE achievement because if you can't connect because of your location...well, lets just say, 60,000 waves of horde is not my idea of fun. Or at least make it so the XP counts in local/bot games. Then at least you can kind of boost it...right? |

We all knew it was coming. Cliff always brags about these achievements and he loves them, so it was no question that he wouldn't throw it in for his final iteration.
My guess? If it's 1,000,000 kills, there'll be plenty of baddies and grindable levels, just like in GoW2, but probably a little more insane.
Or he'll be a jackass and make it something laughably low, just so we can have it on our tags. Chances are if he does something ridiculous like that, there'll be several even meaner 'chevos in the cards.
Gears has never been an easy 100% and likely never will be. |

So long as they let you do it the cheap way like they did in Gears 2, where it counts in any mode. Plus I'm sure there will be a part in the campaign where you can slaughter up to 1000 locust at a time like the Brumak part in 2.
Only really intersted in where Gears ends now storywise. Beast mode does sound intruiging. Gears has always been the sole Horde provider in my heart. Transformers Escalation is the only other one that provides as much challenge as fun. Wave 14-15. UUUUUUUUGHHH!!!! |

I'd wouldn't mind seeing a 1,000,000 kills achievement, with the caveat that the campaign a) has even bigger kill-generating events than the Brumak scene in GOW2, and b) has an event in-game (ending?) that gives a large number of kills (100k?) but only registers if you do a full playthrough (not just a scene replay).
I don't like the kill grinds, but if we're going to have them, let's make it interesting. |

| @ #54... Gears of War has some of the best achievements out there. They reward you for playing co-operatively, playing through acts in the campaign, playing horde, playing multiplayer and then they add extras like gun achievements. Lots of games stick to just one mode which is really boring. |

Actually, I know it's coming, because Epic is obviously loving the fact that due to natural progression they've established with the Seriously achievements, they have an achievement that A) people will strive to get, and B) is completely ridiculous, and won't be possible by any other game period.
With that said, I also expect there will probably be an epicly epic final battle with literally hundreds of thousands of Locust and Lambent bent on the total annihilation of the human race where you kill literally shittons of shittons of enemies. Like, seriously. |

| Maybe they will make it like an accumulative kills for the whole co-op party. I mean, if you're playing with three other guys then their kills will also count as your kills and vice versa. And beast mode probably won't hurt getting a lot of kills in no time. 1 millions sounds insane but plausible. |

| I got the first Seriously... during the natural progression of getting all the other achievements in GoW.. I haven't even reached 10k for Seriously 2.0, because I haven't found myself in a mood to sit and grind out those kills in the campaign, which I played through only twice, once on Insane and the other for the co-op cheevos. The new Seriously should be like a joke achievement, like get 10 kills in campaign or something. Especially for all the whiners that will complain if it's a big number, when they don't realize that an achievement isn't something easily obtaind or something that should just be handed to you, it should be earned. |

| I actually like these type of achievements. developers are becoming more aware of the achievement/boosting community and it kinda caters to the die hards out there. and im sure they get a laugh out of all the people complaining about it too, hell i do and im one of the people trying to get it. But really, let's be reasonable! 10000 was too many and I had a crazy thought with Gears 1 to try. 100000 was ridiculously too high and unless I played the game constantly for ages, I won't get it. Now they're willing to make it higher!? Realistically, how many people here have ACTUALLY got Seriously 2.0? |

| I tend to cater to both sides on this. Although I think the seriously achievements, both of them, are one heck of a grind it really gives something for the die hard fans to brag about when/if they actually get it. Even so, let us all pray that it wont be 1.000.000 kills (unless there are some creatures that are incredibly easy to kill, like bugs in packs of 100 or something like that) |

| I have seriously 2.0 and it's easy as hell, alls you do is replay first like 40 seconds of brumak rodeo over and over. When I got level 100 I was at 70,000 kills. The next day I had the achievement doing the brumak thing. |

| gears is a very good game, the multiplayer with the new patch is kind of addicted (now is quicker and normally all exp is X2) and the achievements they are nice: natural progression, wepon kills, multiplayer rank and horde they make you play the complete game. Gears of War 3 will be awesome; stop crying you fags because you didnt got previous Seriosly achievements |

It's an achievement, to a certain extent you should have to "work" for it.
However, I wouldn't bother. If it was 1 million kills I don't think I could, even if there was a big event netting a couple of k at a time. I like achievements, but I'd rather be having fun while getting them. If someone can be arsed with 1 million kills then fair play to them, they earned an achievement that I haven't.
Besides, we have no guarentee it'll be 1 million, we just expect it will be. |

| jesus christmas, ive still yet to get 1.0, and im at 62,000 with 2.0 and i really dont even wanna finish that but ive come this far i feel i have to one day otherwise its wasted hours. 1,000,000 kills, thats ridiculous, 500,000 would be a little more reasonable |

Okay for everyone who thinks its going to be 1,000,000 kills for seriously 3.0 its probably NOT. What it may require (according to this website i found) you to do is get to level 100, complete the campaign on insane, earn every medal/ribbon, AND complete waves 1-50 on all 10 maps on the horde on gears 3 and complete the beast mode waves 1-60 (Yes 60 waves) on all 10 maps. One of the medals you have to get to level 100 on gears 2. I know this cause I've played the beta and there was a medal requiring level 100 on gears 2 SO I'm assuming it means that that same medal will be on gears 3 so play up gears 2 if you want that chevo. Heres the link to the website AND THERE ARE SPOILERS ON THE CHEVO'S... NOT JOKING I WAS KINDA SAD THAT I FOUND OUT SOME BIG ANSWERS BUT ONLY A FEW ONLY ABOUT 1/3 OF THEM.

| I actually went on the gears of war website where it mentions every achievement that is on GOW3 and seriously 3.0 is Reach level 100 and earn every Onyx medal. |
