| I haven't played this game but can't they just release the larger maps and vehicles as DLC? I mean I know it says above that they are not planning on bringing any DLC but it would make much more sense just to do it. |

| This is good news for me as i enjoyed the game (and still am). and to #6 i would rather them make a whole new game with new maps and weapons and pay 1200MSP for it, than pay 800MSP for a few maps. |

| I am on the fence about the game. I see the potential and I did play one match in the demo. However it failed to impress too much, and I have not wanted to take another shot at it. A sequel seems like a dumb move, dlc add on is better. |

Too bad you often cant leave your spawn due to being 1-2 vs 4-5, fucking matchmaking is horrible

@34 It's not missing any features, it's a multiplayer based game. Your expecting this to have a full single player with a story and everything, but they developed this as a MP only game like BF1943 was. There are 4 co-op missions you can do solo but it's not a real single player. Unless you really like MP your not going to like this game.
The only way I'll get the second one is if the matchmaking allows people to join games in progress like COD and BF does. That's my only complaint with it, other than that I liked it. |

All the people riding this games dick need to play a true arcade FPS. 1943 destroys blacklight in nearly every way besides the customization(maybe they should have fixed gameplay and menus instead of making 30 camos to put on a gun). |

| This game is pretty fun and for 10 bucks it's totally worth it. Spawn camping isn't a problem because when getting camped you get more kills than the campers because of the HRV. Also, I'd rather pay 10 dollars more for a new game than some dlc. |

@45: I don't think they ever plan to update 1943. If you look at the ticker on the main menu, it still says the BF:BC2 demo is out.
I'd be happy if they did though. 1943 isn't as good as the PC version of 1942(or Battlefield 2 for that matter), but it's still pretty fun. |

| @8 That comment was glorious. Also, people who say the "haters" of this game suck etc, no, they simply aren't on a band wagon. The game was the definition of generic. The only cool thing was the EMP type grenade, otherwise, I found it to be very unoriginal, poorly animated, hard to read, and overall, unenjoyable. Purchasing Counter Strike for $10 would be a better purchase if you want a value generic shooter. |

| People need to calm down with the hate for this game. If you don't like it go buy a retail game for $60 and enjoy its full features. This game is $15 and i got all i expected from that amount of money. It's actually worth every penny if you think about it with the amount of customization and maps you receive with the game it is about right. Luckily for everyone there is like 500 other arcade games to play. The value of 1200 msp is equal to bargain bin material and that's what you get. |

| @49 - I loved Battlefield 1943, and I love Blacklight. They're both fun games, it's just a shame about the fact that, with Blacklight, the matchmaking doesn't allow for games to be joined in progress so they're very rarely full - I agree with @46. Maybe allowing people to join games in progress is something they can fix in a later update for this, because this is probably the only thing stopping this being my favourite multiplayer of 2010. |

| Tried the demo on my main acct. Tried it again on my 2nd acct. Seems like a semi-decent game but needs much improvement. Additional spawn locations and the option of spawn selection, clearer/larger type on the screen, better hit detection. Probably won't buy the full version or the sequel. |

I was looking forward to this game originally, but when I realized it was MP only I was disheartened.
Not because I don't like multiplayer games, but I'm not very good at FPS titles, especially not with real people, so I was hoping to having a single player experience where I'd just keep dying and eventually make it through.
I played the demo and I don't even know what I'm supposed to do in the fake single player co-op mission, and I feel like I die really fast (and having to go back to the menu is obnoxious).
Oh well. If I were better, I'd probably have bought it, but I don't want to buy a game that requires a fanbase to be playable. If I want to play it down the road, I wouldn't be able to. |

Meh. Didnt even complete my free 1 hour trial. Very boring game IMO. Sound was awful graphics were average and spawn camping was rife.

@15, use your HRV. Spawn camping is easy to avoid.
I loved this game. Didn't personally udnerstand all the haters. Having said that, a sequel this early!? Skeptical Kenny is skeptical.They should make it a bit smoother and make a full blown game out of it. With campaign for both Blacklight and The Order. It would make A) More sense, B) Develop the backstory better and C) Sell more..? |
