| While I got sick of rythm games after Guitar Hero 3 / Rockband 1 a Queen game would be something I would pick up, they're my favorite band after all. This new Guitar Hero: Warriors Of Rock seems a bit interesting as well, but I've hung up my intstruments and will probably steer clear of both. |

| I love music games that are diverse and have a variety of bands. You'd think companies would understand the complaints from everyone about these games that are devoted to one band. Queen is respectable but there's not an entire game worth of good material. |

@35 Stop being retarded, even if you are doing so on purpose. 95% of the game's library are still within the genre of rock. Besides, Harmonix has always stated that they will look into other genres of music to include. So does that make the title 'Rock Band' a misnomer? A little tiny bit. Does it fucking matter? No.
@9 The games take skill to play. Maybe not as much skill as playing the same songs on the real thing, and maybe its not skill that appeals to you, but its a fact. Don't be that snobby musician/gamer stereotype who always has to get in the statement "Learn a real instrument".
On topic, I don't think this should happen. There are going to be 13 songs in the RB library, and I think a couple are already in GH, the next band game should be a high-profile artist with little content in the genre. |

I put my money on Queen Rock Band, they were in Lego Rock Band, they have a 10 pack for rock band 2, yes bo-rhap is in both new games, but rock band did have a survey on band specific games, which Queen, Pink Floyd and a few others were on, so I say its a Queen Rock Band because it's more obvious and id probably kill myself if is guitar hero queen, because they already butchered van halen and aerosmith and metallica was okay, but they dont know the formula of a good band game like rock band
rock band- all songs from band
real attention to band's story, green day could have been better
GH- like 20 of the bands songs and 20 random ones, sorry i bought this game for the band not to play stacy's mom in van halen (i do love that song tho)
aerosmith was the only one that even remotley followed the band, interviews, real places (nipmunc high is like down the street from my house =D ) |

Right after The Beatles:Rock Band came out, May was positive there was gonna be a Queen:Rock Band. Now it's a Guitar Hero: Queen. Eh, I wonder if he's just trying to keep the Queen name out there. With most of the good Queen songs already in Rock Band or coming out in Rock Band 3, I really see no need whatsoever to buy a GH:Queen.

@53 - You're mad that they RB is expanding? That's the dumbest thing ever, if you don't like the song, don't get it, make your game "rock" band. I don't have the songs but at least HMX is trying to make everyone happy, where as GH is just copy paste from their other games, and a chunk of the songs are from RB anyways. I loved GH 2, and even GH 3 was quite good but that's where that ends

In all honesty! Guitar Hero band games are much superior to Rock Bands ones!
They use lots of the band's songs, but also songs from similar artists and queens inspirations as the support act in each concert! The video content of the guitar hero band games is excellent as opposed to 'photographs' in rock bands alternative! I mean ARE YOU HAVING A FUCKING LAUGH!
I hate the stupid GH-RB fued. It's very gay both series are excellent. End of story! (it doesnt matter how many games each release, How would that effect the quality of the game?)

The DLC you bring up is a total of 9 songs, out of the other 1250 or so songs in the main library. So no, your lack of taste for a certain artist does not rest your case. For every Miley Cyrus song, there is 10 more songs on the opposite end of the spectrum, such as Megadeth, Metallica, Dream Theater, Judas Priest, etc... |

There's a huge discussion about this on the Rock Band forums.
When Lego Rock Band came out, Brian said that there was a lot of work being done to bring some insane Queen experience to the Rock Band forum. Since the game came out so close to the time that Queen 10-pack was released, a lot of people argue that he was referring to the pack, but the general consensus (and logic) seems to be convinced it's a Track Pack or all-out Queen Rock Band.
If anything I said about Rock Band was true, I don't think they'd switch to Guitar Hero at the last second, especially since Rock Band 3 introduces harmonies (to the main platform), keyboards, and Pro instruments. Guitar Hero has, what, detachable bodies? |

A BIG FYI. He NEVER says anything about Guitar Hero in the interview, he just says "games" He has been quoted before in the past saying he was working on something with Harmonix and Rock Band. Specifically mentioning a Queen game as well(and this was AFTER Lego Rock Band came out and had nothing to do with the bands appearance in the game)
This is most likely a Queen Rock Band anyways. It is more appropriate for the band with Harmonies and Keyboards. |

@ 9 - Real instruments require more "skill" to play. The music / rhythm games (and such, their plastic color coded controllers) can still provide some challenge, and there would definitely be a clear difference of who has more "skill" between someone failing at Easy and someone rocking at Expert. I play an actual guitar and won't argue it's a lot more effort to sound amazing on actual guitar, but there is definitely still some [player] "skill" involved with the music / rhythm games. They just shouldn't be mistaken for musicians.
@ 18 - When did they confirm a Guitar Hero: Megadeth? 'cause if my favorite band is getting their own game and I missed it, holy crap.

Despite what people say, they're actually nearly identical when it comes down to actually playing the songs (which, believe it or not, is what I buy the games for).

Let's not worry about Rock Band Queen. Personally, I want game dedicated to individual bands to end. There's no room for diversity.
Bottom line, Bohemian Rhapsody made Rock Band 3, and really, that and, like, two other songs from them are all I care about. I'm good. |

| Oh no! They're making video games to make money? This is terrible. Buy it or don't, no one cares about your complaints. Queen was one of the greatest bands to ever exist and I will be buying any game of theirs, and why would anyone prefer DLC when the game would come with a min of 50ish tracks at $60 which is less expensive as $2 a track. |

GH5,Metallica,Smash Hits,DJ Hero,Van Halen and Band Hero.
Thats 6 Perheripal-based GH engine games.

| Well lets hope that if this is rock band that they fix those abominations they call notes and pick songs that don't suck. Rock band died after 1 and guitar hero died with world tour, got revived with metallica, then died again with whatever game came next. |
