I cannot help it but reading this title made me think of a little girl asking Daddy Microsoft to get her some doll she really wants, and Daddy MS is like "Sure, Daddy will get you that doll." And he gets it. Even if he has to steal it from some other snotface, he'll get her that doll. OvO
Not too interested in the game, I'd rather have Versus to make up for that abomination that was XIII (= opinion). |

I would Love to see XIV for 360. I had a lot of fun playing XI, I just wish I knew more people to play with. And I wish they weren't asshats. It was like L4D, you try to do your own thing and they'll make you pay for it. I wish the achievements weren't so rediculous in XI either. |

XIII was not awesome, in fact it was barely playable.
It was boring, overrated, badly made and not a proper FF game in my opinion.
The last good FF games was IX. Everything there after is shit. Round about the time they changed to Square-Enix and turned into a money grubbing company of dickheads. |

I would prefer FF13 versus a lot more than FF14 but it's not like they can't both be ported.
But then again, I would have liked more information on FF13 versus at all during E3... If they don't show any information in the next TGS I'll stop thinking about this game for a while..... |

| According to an interview with someone who had all 1250 in FFXI, found in Game Informer (can't remember the issue #)...It took over 1200 DAYS for him to get all 1250...That's about 29 thousands hours... |

@8: I don't know, the game seems pretty playable to me.
Sure, the story is not as good as its predecessors, but I still found it kind of fun.
I'll agree that it's boring and overrated, but it's pretty well made(as well as any other game). The only thing that bugs me about it is that they made it more action-y and less JRPG-y.
And Square has always been a "money-grubbing company of dickheads", as you say. They just didn't seem like it before because they were making games that you liked. |

Definitely not well made. They tried to go the road of MGS4 with the long cutscenes. But it didnt work because MGS4 actually had a good story and a whole load of awesome characters. Also considered long cutscenes and flashy graphics isn't what a Final Fantasy game is supposed to be about.
Did you know the developers said they didn't add in towns and other features because it was "Too much work"? They should tell that to Bioware who probably work with a far smaller budget on Mass Effect and still manage to give a superior gaming experience both cinematically and gameplay wise.
Final Fantasy is dead in my eyes. It died a long time ago |

I was counting on VersusXIII to be announced, that would've made E3 for me, but alas...
Still, I love Final Fantasy, good or bad (yes, I was disappointed with XIII) so any news is good news, VersusXIII, XIV, it matters not to me, bring them on, I say :)

Final Fantasy VII was by far the best of them IMO. I for one hope they remake it and make it better not only graphically but in terms of gameplay as well for example the fort condor mini game could be massivly expanded and into a RTS.
Just my thoughts on it |

I have a friend that works for Square Enix and he confirmed to me several months ago that Final Fantasy XIV is indeed coming to the 360 but it is a timed exclusive for the PS3 and PC first. He thought they would announce it at E3 but alas they did not. It will probably be several months after the PS3 release.
We will be getting it on PS3 first and then when 360 version releases we can still use our same characters on either platform. |

| I really hope this happens. I've been alpha testing XIV and it has a lot steeper requirements specs wise. It'd be nice to not have to buy a new computer or upgrade to get it too play without lag. |

| I am not interested in the online FF's. In my opinion, the mmo mimick that was FFXII was better. Though I will say, FFXI was far more successful on xb1 than on ps2, it be stupid not to bring FFXIV to 360. I hope while they're there, MS also grabs VS XIII. |

Yay! Im doing a total rerun of FFXII, I even borght me a new ps2 for it. I sold FFXIII kras then 1 week playing it. OMG, dont even refer to it as a FF game, plz... Ive seen beta gameplay of FFXIV and im in love. Plz bribe SE in making a XB360 version. After all we have the best online service with Live, lol.

Even if this comes out expect to pay around 1200MSP to actually d/l the key (around 240kb) that enables you to access MMO features.
Not that I really care anyway - the last FF game I played was VII. |

Sounds like Square Enix threw the ball into Microsofts lap this time.
And I hope I am right since Microsoft is better of spending money elsewhere. So instead of buying the title, square enix actually wants to make the game for the 360.

@40 FF11 was on 360
as for monthly fees,i can only say FF11 on the 360 was £8 a month(and an extra quid for each extra character)..but you only needed Xbox Live Silver to play
i miss that game,and would be in FF14 in a flash if it came to 360 |

| I actually enjoyed XIII very much. Well everybody knew that it was going to share opinions. I loved its changes and it being linear didn't bother so much. One thing I wanted was more people to interact with. Buuuut.. I really don't care if XIV doesn't make its way to 360. Though it would be nice and I would definitely be picking it up. |
