Looks good, but I still need to finish the other dlc! hahaThursday, June 17, 2010 @ 07:38 AM
What about Mass Effect? seriously disappointing how bioware have not made good DLC for ME2 yet.Thursday, June 17, 2010 @ 07:41 AM
Awesome, leliana is so my fav charThursday, June 17, 2010 @ 07:43 AM
Really enjoyed the game and will finish up the DLC soon enough. Cant wait for it.Thursday, June 17, 2010 @ 07:45 AM
I still have to finish the game before I do all of these suckers. LOL!!!Thursday, June 17, 2010 @ 07:59 AM
@2 *cough* What you mean no good ME2 dlc? Overlord is out you do realize!Thursday, June 17, 2010 @ 08:04 AM
This needs to hurry up and hit the cap, it's begining to take the piss.Thursday, June 17, 2010 @ 08:05 AM
Interesting, hope they do the same for other characters as well. Definitely a buy for me but I still need to finish the Darkspawn Chronicles achievements first. I'm still looking for that Mass Effect 2 expansion though. Overlord was great but it needs a fully-fledged expansion rather than these small bits of DLC. Get it together Bioware!Thursday, June 17, 2010 @ 08:09 AM
I agree with #2, seems like bioware is more concentraing on this Dragon Age game rather then ME2. And i liked both games, but ME2 was better in my opinion, yet they only release single missions for it. and Dragon Age has had about 5 pieces of DLC for it and all substantial at that. Very strange.Thursday, June 17, 2010 @ 08:24 AM
Wow I really really really need to start playing this again!!!Thursday, June 17, 2010 @ 08:50 AM
How much is 7 dollars in mspoints ?Thursday, June 17, 2010 @ 08:56 AM
@#11- 560 points.Thursday, June 17, 2010 @ 08:58 AM
@11, probably 560Thursday, June 17, 2010 @ 08:59 AM
@11: $7 is 560 ms pointsThursday, June 17, 2010 @ 09:00 AM
@11 7$ = 560MSP By the way I don't understand why they keep pricing DLC that way. It's 5, 7 or 10 $. Why a DLC can't cost 4, 6, 8 or 9 $.Thursday, June 17, 2010 @ 09:29 AM
Hmm, I'm starting to fall behind on Bioware's DLC. I guess I'll pick up Awakenings then grab the rest just over time.Thursday, June 17, 2010 @ 09:45 AM
yay dragon age! but they need to fix the last DLC. still cant get ogres keeper :(Thursday, June 17, 2010 @ 09:46 AM
@9 It is probably because they want to establish Dragon Age as a franchise. So the best way to do that is to continually support it to show that this is a franchise and not a one-off game like Jade Empire was. Mass Effect was already established as a trilogy from the start and both games got massive praise from critics. I am disappointed though because of the lack of good DLC for Mass Effect. I haven't played Overlord yet, so that could change my mind, but everything so far has been like 1 mission long or some sort of add-in like new weapons or armor that I never use. As for the topic at hand, I don't like this new trend of Dragon Age DLC that has you playing as someone other that the Warden the whole time. Darkspawn Chronicles was shit IMO, and now we play as Leliana instead of the Warden? If you are gonna keep making these DLC at least make something really interesting like maybe play as Maric at a major battle and drive out the Orlesians or something.Thursday, June 17, 2010 @ 09:53 AM
traded this in, most boring combat and levelling ever. the story was pretty weak too.Thursday, June 17, 2010 @ 10:42 AM
@19 - it certainly wasn't the worst, but it was pretty bad. maybe you just aren't an rpg player. :) don't flame me too much, i didn't like it either. as soon as i got to redcliffe (spelling?) i stopped playing. more dlc for mass effect 2 > more dlc for dragon ageThursday, June 17, 2010 @ 11:01 AM
The only Dragon Age expansion I'll be playing after Origins is Awakening, because those downloadable mini-expansions (also for Mass Effect) are over before you get into them. Bioware should play to their strengths: telling lengthy involving stories. I'd rather have 1 substantial expansion than 10 small expansions of the same length.Thursday, June 17, 2010 @ 11:44 AM
So are they going to add 50G bring it to 1500G then finish it off with another expansion pack with 250G???Thursday, June 17, 2010 @ 01:14 PM
Надеюсь, что кроме этого DLC будут другиеThursday, June 17, 2010 @ 01:41 PM
@12,13,14,15 Thanks guys :). @22 Maybe they release this one with 150 gamerscore and one more dlc with 150 gamerscore :)Thursday, June 17, 2010 @ 02:26 PM
Sweet, Leliana is the best character in Dragon Age IMO, this is a day one must buy for me.Thursday, June 17, 2010 @ 02:31 PM
the only way this game keeps getting sales is because of the dlc i played this game and it was alright but DEFINITELY not a game i would EVER buy dlc not even if you went into modern times and became a pimp named steveThursday, June 17, 2010 @ 02:33 PM
@19 im with you and i love rpgsThursday, June 17, 2010 @ 02:38 PM
I prefer DRAGON AGE ORIGINS to MASS EFFECT 2, so all DA:O DLC news is good news to me... (not so good news for my bank-manager, though!)Thursday, June 17, 2010 @ 02:39 PM
Boobs. Probably the most necessary background story in DA:O, one that needs to be told with gameplay. Red hair. Boobs. Win!Thursday, June 17, 2010 @ 02:42 PM
I'll be getting this on day one... But are people serious? Leliana, your favourite character? Along with Sten she is the worst I would say; they couldn't muster as much personality as a plank of wood between them. Oghren, Zevran, Alistair and Morrigan would be my favourites.Thursday, June 17, 2010 @ 03:01 PM
Sten's a bit underwritten, but I liked Leliana. Looking forward to this, provided it's more substantial than the Darkspawn one. Having seen Jade Empire mentioned, a sequel to that would be awesome.Thursday, June 17, 2010 @ 03:25 PM
with all these dlc they better relasea a game of the year edition with everythign includedThursday, June 17, 2010 @ 03:52 PM
Sten was an optional character, so they didn't focus too much on him. On topic-DA is a very good game and I like the dlc support for it, but come on Bioware. It's time to focus on some serious dlc for ME2.Thursday, June 17, 2010 @ 04:12 PM
i love seeing new dlc for this game, keeping giving me a reason to keep puting it back in. and i'm ok with the 7 dollar price tag, 5 would be nice but 7 beats 10 anyday. lolThursday, June 17, 2010 @ 04:17 PM
I never got Dragon Age I really don't know why, how big is it? And is it co-op? I got some spare change around I may pick it up.Thursday, June 17, 2010 @ 04:50 PM
Didn't buy Darkspawn Chronicles and probably won't buy this one either. As #18 mentioned, playing as anybody other than the warden doesn't seem feel right. I like that they continue to support the game, but they should try to get some more patches out too.Thursday, June 17, 2010 @ 04:55 PM
@35 It's not co-op, single player only. The length depends on how you play, but I would say most likely 30+ hours for a single play through. I spent 87 hours on my first run, but I'm pretty slow. :)Thursday, June 17, 2010 @ 05:28 PM
only getting it if achievements are attachedThursday, June 17, 2010 @ 07:54 PM
As long as new achievements are added to it, it's a buy. I'm sure this will be a short DLC like the others, so let's hope it's a good one. Didn't really like Leliana much...Thursday, June 17, 2010 @ 08:07 PM
wow more dlc for dragon age and i havent even played the game yet. slow down a bit bioware.Thursday, June 17, 2010 @ 09:21 PM
@ #40 Bioware waits for no one!Thursday, June 17, 2010 @ 10:34 PM
Cool, no doubt more achievements will be added with these. Maybe 50 gs for a nice 1500 total? Either way, I'm excited :)Thursday, June 17, 2010 @ 11:22 PM
Might be good looking forward to itFriday, June 18, 2010 @ 06:46 AM
I'm looking forward to this.... I started a New Character and am currently playing again for that Traveler Achievement. I missed it the first time by not entering one area.... Everyone hating on Dragon Age, I get so tired of reading comments everywhere about how people hate this or that....If you can't say anything good, Why say anything at all?Friday, June 18, 2010 @ 11:05 AM
I love how everyone assumes that Bioware is just ignoring Mass Effect 2. I think the fact that they are only adding tiny achievemens to the game is evidence enough that they have something big planned. Come on guys it's BioWare. They don't mess around.Friday, June 18, 2010 @ 01:08 PM
sounds coolSaturday, July 03, 2010 @ 07:00 PM
new achievements?

As if there wasn't already enough DLC for BioWare's Dragon Age: Origins, and with talk that Dragon Age: Origins II might soon be formally confirmed, there's still no sign of the extra content letting up as 'Leliana's Song' has now been announced for the brutal RPG.
Playing as young bard Leliana, "involved in a criminal ring that deals in the political secrets", you accompany her mentor Marjolaine on a high risk mission only to become entangled in an inescapable game of intrigue, and her beauty, charm and stealth skills won't save her this time.
Here are the features for Leliana's Song listed on the official Dragon Age: Origins site:
- Explore Leliana's dangerous past and why she joined the Chantry
- Fully voiced cinematic experience brings the characters to life
- Unlock a unique reward that transfers into your Awakening and Origins campaign
Leliana's Song is due to release on July 6th, and will cost $7.
