This isn't new. Screens were released last week! KOTAKU just released Gears of War 3 screens aswell claiming they only came out today. What is going on?!

I doubt I'm trolling by adding depth to this article with an external link with more information and a genuine release time followed by constructive criticism. I know its shite weather today but don't try and be downer by pinning me negatively :)
p.s. - This game comes with 4 player "horde - like" extermination mode: Online.

OT: this game looks pretty good. I never finished the first one as the open world aspect kinda dulled me out. I hope this one is more 3rd person or 1st person shooter esque.

But on a more serious note, i played RF:G loads, i was there recently left playing with the best players in the world co everyone else was playing other stuff by then!! Lets hope this sells better though! |

If the images had a copyright and you didn't cite your sources then yes it would be stealing, it was constructive criticism, I mean, why wait for screen shots to be sent to you, you could be out hunting them getting up to date information for your audience.
And again trolling? I'm contributing relative information with each post I make, which is contrary to trolling.
p.s. - the game will be accompanied with a comic book series, an arcade game and a SyFy television movie to help boost the franchise. |

Burnill, constructive criticism doesn't need to be nasty.
And I'm sure that Webb and everyone else here would release this news when they had more details about them or quotes, it's easy to just say stuff but actually posting news with alot of detail is more interesting rather than a pointless one saying what you've just said. |

| this game is so far from what red faction was in the beginning, i think its ridiculous... the game might be good, but the plot sounds like a rehash of doom, and im just very upset that they aren't going back to the geomod, FPS i remember as the first red faction... i enjoyed the destroyable environment in RF:G but its only the buildings, not the landscape, and thats what it should be... not tying to be a complete nay sayer, or depressing... |

I disagree. I think people do want to hear the extra details about the game like 4 player co-op and the extra stuff coming out with it.
So what am I pushing you with? Because I've ended my initial points when you told me no. All I'm doing now is replying to you, and posting additional details. What is my crime?

Well I certainly don't have time to trawl teh interwebz for all my 360 news, so I come here. I'll accept info from posters when they cite their sources but if it's clear that they're being a jackass then I'll just skip what they're saying.
Anyway, I didn't like the vast empty expanses of RF:G, it was quite plain, which I realise is quite understandable considering the setting but, for me, it got boring fast and when you shoot up a town it stayed shot up which made it even less inviting to go back. I like the destruction element of the GeoMod 2.0 engine and physics but that was about it for RF:G. Hopefully the story will be a lot better in RF:A. |
