I wouldn't be suprised if the Beta is exclusive to a game their going to bring out in the near future.Wednesday, May 19, 2010 @ 04:28 AM
i really need to get in on this to see how the game will work because at the minute im very undecided on whether or not assassins creed can work as multiplayerWednesday, May 19, 2010 @ 04:31 AM
It'll Work, I've had the idea of it for a long time since i played number one, obviously ubisoft agree or someone pipped up about it, hopefully it won't be an exclusive with a game like #1 said cause that'll be bull unless it's with ghost recon seems that got pushed forwards who knows.Wednesday, May 19, 2010 @ 04:32 AM
I'm quite sure Assassin's Creed CAN'T work as a multiplayer game, but I'll look for this beta to see if I'm wrong or not. At this time I'm on 90% Epic fail for MP, that turn down to 70% if MP is like SCC MP. We'll see...Wednesday, May 19, 2010 @ 04:39 AM
hope multiplayer works. cant see how it would thoughWednesday, May 19, 2010 @ 04:40 AM
dude......MP on AC is gunna b awesome i can already imagin epic sword fights while i slink behind and shank a bitch while hes tryin to fight ahahahahaWednesday, May 19, 2010 @ 04:50 AM
Not to sure if multiplayer would work but I'm looking forward to trying it outWednesday, May 19, 2010 @ 04:51 AM
Sounds like MP ruining another great series *cough Bioshock cough*. Really hope this is actually good.Wednesday, May 19, 2010 @ 04:53 AM
wonder how there gonna make the beta work??? my guess is that you'll only be able to access it if you buy Prince Of Persia or R.U.S.EWednesday, May 19, 2010 @ 04:53 AM
I think it will work, look: FFA Assassin ~ 12 Assassin's in 1 game, cool city maps. Team Deathmatch ~ Templars vs. Assassin's. Capture the feather ~ 6 Assassin's running for 1 feather, if you hold the feather long enough you win. Freerun Race ~ Running over rooftops, who gets at the end-point first wins the race. Not to forget a CO-OP story. Split-screen/Live. If this all is true, I'm happy. ~MONK3YWednesday, May 19, 2010 @ 05:15 AM
Only interested if its a story co-op tbh.Wednesday, May 19, 2010 @ 05:42 AM
I for one think that this multiplayer will be broken.Wednesday, May 19, 2010 @ 05:42 AM
omg this justs better and better!!! cant wait!!Wednesday, May 19, 2010 @ 05:58 AM
I LOVE the Assassins Creed series, and I'm interested in how the multi-player will pan out.Wednesday, May 19, 2010 @ 06:22 AM
@ 10: so go play Halo for those MP gameplays, they're quite good and meant to be that way... Those are the WORST ideas for an AC MP. There's absolutely no way they can do those and not transform that awesome STEALTH game in an under the average ruined FRAG game. Like I said the only MP that woldn't send this game to the hell of awful "must have multiplayer" games is the one from Splinter Cell Conviction.Wednesday, May 19, 2010 @ 06:23 AM
@14 i dont think it will be deathmatch but more objective based.Wednesday, May 19, 2010 @ 06:23 AM
@1 Yeah much like the Ghost Recon: FS Beta is only playable though Splinter Cell: Conviction. But i can't think of any up coming Ubisoft games that they could use to bridge the Beta for AC:B. E3's only t a few weeks away so we'll just have to wait and see.Wednesday, May 19, 2010 @ 06:24 AM
Multiplayer for this game will make it complete imo... why wouldnt you want to assassinate people around the whole of Rome with mates?? TWO games of beautiful single player and ONE game of beautiful multiplayer perfection :]Wednesday, May 19, 2010 @ 06:25 AM
i would rather see co-op multi player like some sort of capture the flag where you have a group of 4 players needing to protect a person or a goal and 4 others try and take or kill it. i don't think a free for all multiplayer would work very well.Wednesday, May 19, 2010 @ 06:28 AM
If the Ghost Recon beta is on the Splinter Cell disc, then is it possible the AC: B beta will be on the new Prince of Persia disc? Hmm...Wednesday, May 19, 2010 @ 06:30 AM
I think that the multi-player will bring replayability to the series.Wednesday, May 19, 2010 @ 06:31 AM
@15 Your opinion..Wednesday, May 19, 2010 @ 07:14 AM
hmmm...mulit-player on Assassins Creed....interesting.Wednesday, May 19, 2010 @ 07:50 AM
Awesome can't wait to see how it will actually work...Wednesday, May 19, 2010 @ 08:42 AM
#8 MP didn't RUIN Bioshock2 it was still a great game with abit of MP fun tacked on. As for Creed, Co-op would be awesome... Not sure Deathmatch games could be integrated well with the games mechanics but at least they're releasing a beta so we can decide our selves!! ps.If MP is wonk - just wait for it to drop in priceWednesday, May 19, 2010 @ 09:12 AM
To everyone saying "MP probably won't work" or the likes - How about you try it first? Love the assuming community b/c regardless - One mans trash is another's treasure. @ 25 - Unless it's an EA sports game. Fork over that extra $10Wednesday, May 19, 2010 @ 09:12 AM
i NEED in on the beta!!!Wednesday, May 19, 2010 @ 09:33 AM
i think in terms of a "multiplayer" for this game, it should be co-op missions, kinda like MW2Wednesday, May 19, 2010 @ 09:34 AM
Multiplayer for AC is going to suck. Your just going to have people stabbing people all day and pissing everyone off. Pass.Wednesday, May 19, 2010 @ 09:41 AM
Bet you'll get it when you buy Prince of Persia: TFS.Wednesday, May 19, 2010 @ 10:31 AM
you'll probs get with R.U.S.E or prince of persiaWednesday, May 19, 2010 @ 10:31 AM
I'll play this because I need to see this game before I spend $60 on it...Wednesday, May 19, 2010 @ 10:50 AM
Hmm,never thought MP for AC well it is free so i will check the beta out,i'm a fan of the series so this game will be mine,if the MP is bad i don't care, come on guys single player still excists!!?!Wednesday, May 19, 2010 @ 11:02 AM
Ubisoft really leaves a bitter taste in my mouth today for some reason...Wednesday, May 19, 2010 @ 11:29 AM
releasing this game so soon scares me. The ending of AC II leads you to believe that AC III was going to take place in a different era. Guess they just want a quick sale for Christmas. Not sold on an immediate purchase.Wednesday, May 19, 2010 @ 11:34 AM
looking forward to this, but why do most ppl assume MP means Deathmatch every time?Wednesday, May 19, 2010 @ 01:01 PM
@29 And you know this how? Psychic? At least wait for the details on the MP before you decide. The MP could be co-op, or a competitive MP like SC:Convictions, which btw is also made by Ubisoft. Just like any MP it CAN work if it's done right.Wednesday, May 19, 2010 @ 01:33 PM
I'm pretty sure they already released the details on the multiplayer. Something like Templars trained as assassin's to take down the Assassin's themselves. I'm also beginning to think that this is another side story similar to Bloodlines on the PSP. That's my guess, though.Wednesday, May 19, 2010 @ 02:58 PM
No problem if the beta is on another Ubisoft game seeing as how they are a favorite developer of mine and I buy most of their games anyways.Wednesday, May 19, 2010 @ 04:45 PM
EPIC WIN!Wednesday, May 19, 2010 @ 04:49 PM
The beta will probably come with the new Prince of Persia. And I don't think this can really be considered AC 3. There will probably be an actual AC 3 later on.Wednesday, May 19, 2010 @ 05:33 PM
I think the beta will come with RUSE!Wednesday, May 19, 2010 @ 05:46 PM
@25-Implying that the MP was actually fun.Wednesday, May 19, 2010 @ 05:56 PM
Did any of you guys beat AC2? Its obvious Desmond will be the main character in AC3, this MP games is a spin-off like bloodlines was. Ubi is just lookin to cash in on holiday gamers who would rather lie to themselves than admit that MP other than co-op would suck in this series. Oh yeah sry...IMOWednesday, May 19, 2010 @ 06:29 PM
Curious to see how this MP is going to work out.Wednesday, May 19, 2010 @ 06:44 PM
it would be interesting to see how they will pull this off, hopfully they do (Y)Wednesday, May 19, 2010 @ 06:57 PM
To all you guys that says Multiplayer will fuck this game up. Just play the fucking story and shut up ?Wednesday, May 19, 2010 @ 08:13 PM
Oh what the hell?!!!Wednesday, May 19, 2010 @ 09:15 PM
To me, it seems like a dumb idea, but must time tell us how it turns out.Wednesday, May 19, 2010 @ 09:56 PM
@47 But you know how people feel about their achievement progress. Shoot even I get bothered when achievements are tied to a MP I deem weak, or unpopular, but I'm curious to see what they'll come up with. If I can play ninja in Venice with my peeps, I'll be pleased.Wednesday, May 19, 2010 @ 10:01 PM
Sorry for double-post (not really) @36 "looking forward to this, but why do most ppl assume MP means Deathmatch every time?" 'cause more often than not, devs tack on predictable cut & paste modes like Deathmatch, CTF, etc. Rather than make modes built around the games notable strengths (If it even has any), they just follow in the footsteps of some other game that did well.Thursday, May 20, 2010 @ 03:57 AM
Assassins Creed II.5 for sure. Stll gonna buy it even though they're just trying to get more $$$ out of us before we buy ACIII. More than likely bridging a small gap in between 2 and 3, and more of an expansion to Ezio's story rather than Desmonds. Im sure that most of us who are fans of the series will look into getting this at some point regardless. Plus the customize your ass(assin) feature might be cool. At least we know it will more than likely be better than Tenchu Z.Thursday, May 20, 2010 @ 03:57 AM
Maybe I'm closed minded, but how the hell are they gonna put Multiplayer in Assassin's Creed? Its like putting multiplayer in Metroid... ...oh wait.Thursday, May 20, 2010 @ 12:10 PM
I think it'll be quite good, team assassinations with people having different roles such as one distracting a guard whilst another sneaks past.Thursday, May 20, 2010 @ 11:16 PM
i just hope this isn't just tacked on... still gunna give it a shot thoughWednesday, June 16, 2010 @ 10:07 AM
I would hope that the multiplayer is closer to splinter cell's than halo 3'sWednesday, June 16, 2010 @ 10:27 PM
multiplayer will work everyone said the same thing of splinter cell conviction and its f*cking awesome!

According to Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot, Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood will have a multiplayer beta.
The news was revealed during Ubisoft's yearly financial conference call, and it's expected that more information will be revealed on the Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood multiplayer beta at E3 2010 in June.
There are currently no other specifics on the multiplayer beta, but E3 should hopefully clear that up. It'll also mark the first time the game has been shown.
Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood sees the return of AC II's Ezio, as well as a whole eclectic band of deadly killers in Renaissance Rome.
