Dragon Ball: Raging Blast 2

Dragon Ball: Raging Blast 2 Screens Show Goku and Vegeta Going At It
Written Wednesday, May 12, 2010 By Richard Walker

Five new Dragon Ball: Raging Blast 2 shots have surfaced today and they look to retain the same style of cel-shaded fighting action inspired by the iconic anime, with all of the pyrotechnics and overblown moves you'd expect from a Dragon Ball game.

The screens show Goku and Vegeta kicking the crap out of one another, which is all in a normal day's work in Dragon Ball land.

Developer Spike has been working on the camera and controls for the sequel too, which now tells its story without cut scenes to ensure that you're locked squarely into the action at all times.

20 new characters will also join the Raging Blast fold, pushing the roster up to 90. "Any more characters, and the game disc would spontaneously combust," said no one. We just made that up. Still, you might want to keep an eye on it when the game launches this autumn 2010.

See all of the screenshots in the gallery as usual.

they have the potential to be really awesome games, but the developers always screw them up.

Even though I love dragonball z, I really think they need to stop putting a new game out every 8 months now.. No wonder Akira T. despises it now hahaha

Dragonball games are becoming the new Madden, they just churn out the same shit every year with a slight graphical update.

And I've said it before and I'll say it again. Raging Blast sounds like a Mountain Dew flavor.

WOW as much as I love anything Dragonball related i'm seriously getting sick of the same game every year! I just wish they'd make one big fat game where everything was included & not keep releasing segment by segment. One can wish :)

I would much rather see more of an adventure game instead of this button mashing bullcrap. I still say that my favorite DBZ game was Legend of the Super Saiyan for the SNES. I guess I just like games where you have to work to get better to beat a tough enemy instead of getting lucky or learning those pesky combos...

I'd say the closest thing to that would be Budokai Tenkaichi 3 for the Wii.

They could at least show Goku connecting his attacks this time around. Not to excited about this if they aren't going to really try and fix things.

Jeez ANOTHER one?! Why do they keep pushing these out so often...what characters did they add? Ones you've seen once in the series?

Not a fan of dragonball but my god they put titles out like crazy.

Another Dragonball game...that is exactly like the past 3 or 4 games before it....

If they make a DBZ RPG game like Legacy of Goku instead of the same old boring fighting game, then i'd consider buying it.

Okay, honestly, how many different freaking ways can you make a DBZ fighting game? I love the series, love the characters, but does that mean that I have to pick up every new game just in the HOPES that I will like it? Burst Limit felt like I was picking Budokai for PS2 again, which wasn't necessarily a bad thing, but please, switch it up already. with all the energy they are putting into making a new DB fighting game every year, they could be working on a really long, in depth, open world(s) adventure/RPG, complete with optional side quests, constantly trying to raise your power level for that upcoming boss fight, and then maybe an unlockable bonus dungeon in the end game after you beat the final boss? come on, stop going through the motions of making us DB fighters, and make something th

To #23 A massively multiplayer online role-playing game called Dragon Ball Online is currently in development for release in 2010. It has been stated that Akira Toriyama has been working on character designs for this project for the last five years. But its only for windows, like wft it would blow up on xbox.

Wow, i wish they stopped making these games.
I think the only way i would buy it, was if they made another Budoki game like number 3. That was awsome, upgrading your fighter with abilities, so many secret characters etc.
Was awsome not to mention the fighting. But i doubt this will be anything like it.

I've always wanted a Smash Bros. style DBZ game. Just a big arena, with 4 players going nuts.

Think it would be sweet. All they do with these games is force out a new one each year, which little to no improvements.

I haven't bought a Dragonball Z since the Gameboy Color game Legendary Super Warriors.

And unless they can top that game in-dept wise I might buy it.

But a story mode going from the first Saga with Raditz till the last saga with Buu is necessary. Otherwise its a definnaly no buy.

Movie, DB and DBGT characters/episodes are welcome though.

Agreed with all the complaints. They need to go back to their roots of the Budokai series. 2 and 3 were amazing with the characters and their abilities and the freedom to go Super Saiyan and back on the fly given your energy.

I would like to see a good reboot tho. Burst Limit was not great at all.

I own and ENJOY the first DBRB. Not saying its an absolute must have. So I'll wait for a price drop for 2. Also I agree with the comments that there should be One Piece and Bleach games. Hell you know what I'd love to see, but it'll prolly NEVER happen? Shonen Jump vs Capcom.

What another DBZ FIGHTING game man bring us something more unique remember legend of the Super Saiyan on Super Famicom that was an epic RPG in it's time, but hell I am a DBZ nut since I was like 12 and guess I am getting this one 2, Burst Limit was good and Raging Blast improved over that so here's to some improvements on the next one.

There are a a lot of staples series out there that pump out a new game with said title every year (usually more then one), Dragon Ball has been doing it for at least five years now. Some other good examples are CoD, Halo, Guitar Hero, Rockband, Final Fantasy, and Need for Speed.

they need to take a break to actually take the time to develope a good game, instead of releasing the same thing every year. now dont get me wrong, i'm a huge dragon ball fan, but they need to stop milking this series
