@11 Generic? cos we are currently falling over all the gambling related special editions: Halo:slots, Gears:the roulette edition....lol. On topic this collecters edition looks sweet! I got the fallout 3 lunchbox and I'm probably gonna have to get this too (not least cos my girlfriend will kill me if I dont- she's a huge fallout 3 fan lol.)

| I'll be getting standard edition. There's nothing unique there that stands out to me...as apposed to the in game armor and stuff with other games. I prefer things that i can use in game, and won't just sit there the rest of their life gathering dust. |

I think you mean 'shadow of death' there, Webb. I'm listening to Coolio right now and he never says, 'doubt.' I can't think of any other instance (pop culture, religion, etc.) where the phrase 'shadow of doubt' occurs.
Anyway, Obsidian is a good developer. LucasArts forced them to cut out a lot of content from KotOR II, yet it was still a good game. Neverwinter Nights 2 and its expansions were mostly critically acclaimed. I have faith that New Vegas will be good. |

| This is one of the cooler collector's editions I've seen in a while, but I love Fallout and poker. I will definitely consider getting this, depending on the price. As far as the game, I have faith that Bethesda won't let Obsidian screw it up. |

Between this and the Alan Wake Collectors Edition they finally seem to be putting the "Collectors" bit into the whole deal.
It's Fallout so I'm sold although I love the packaging I could really use another Fallout Lunch Box to stop the boys from fighting over the one. |

| I see some people are saving their money for the Halo Reach legendary edition, which is crap in my eyes. Personally, I am just too smart to spend that much cash for a legendary edition. The limited edition is nearly the same and will do it. The dust collector is not worth that extra money at all, and same goes to flaming helmet. But this game is not too expensive and has poker cards and chips. I loved the septim coin from oblivion so I'll love the platinum chip and I also need cards. Why normal cards when you can have nice Fallout cards? So I think this is a good deal, unlike the Halo reach legendary edition.(The limited edition is awesome though). Sure its just my oppinion and some people love the halo reach dust collector more. |

Considering this, kinda kicking myself in the gut for not getting the Collector's Fallout 3 with the awesome Vault-Tec Lunchbox, plus playing cards based on Fallout sound sweet.

Lots of people seems to have no faith in Obsidian. They did an OK job with KotOR II. Also, are those of you that are sceptical aware of the fact that most of the team that developed Fallout 1+2 works for Obsidian. I think it's safe to say that they know what they're doing.
Back on topic though, this is getting pre-ordered as soon as possible. |

I think I am one of the only people here who aren't interested in this CE but loved Fallout 3.
I loved the Fallout 3 LE because of the Lunchbox and the Bobblehead. Sorry but this CE has nothing in it to make me want to jump on the deal. No Pandora's box like God of War III had, Lock box like GTAIV, or Lunchbox like Fallout 3 so I will pass thank you. |

I'll buy this if I can find it dirt cheap in a year from now lol. It might even be a pass honestly. It looks great and everything but I can't get into gps games. I bought the fallout 3 ce and I've played the game twice.
I would have loved to see another bobble head though...a vault boy bobblehead dressed as a casino dealer lol win! |

| It'll be a fine game, remember Obsidian made KotOR 2. Which in ways was just a new story and a few small teaks to the core gameplay of the original KotOR by Bioware. Everything will be the same except the story and setting, which isn't a bad thing but after awhile it gets bland. This collecters does looks great, I'm not the biggest fan of Fallout but this is just cool. |

The fallout 3 collectors was amazing. Lunchbox + Bobblehead = Sweet. This one isn't nearly as good. The chips are okay. The deck is an okay touch. Wouldn't want to use it though.
Wish there was another Vault Boy figure. Like one holding the tommy gun. Still getting it regardless. Fallout 3 was fun times with a Rock-it launcher, this will be just as good. Definitely Day One for me.

| This actually looks worth it. Hardcover graphic novels are usually about 10-25 bucks, the other swag is sweet, all in all, if this is 80$ i think i'm going to have to pay full-retail for a new game for the first time since Fallout3 lol. |

I totally missed the boat on the Fallout 3 collector's edition and will forever have a little bobblehead-shaped hole in my heart. That won't be happening with the New Vegas collector's.

| I have to admit, that is one of the best CE's I have ever seen. All the extra stuff is superb. Cards you can use, a book to learn more, a making of DVD and trinkets from within the game. Not for me though, I'll wait on this game, still have Fallout 3 + DLC to play through. |
