Why so much hate for Bioshock 2's MP? Sure, it's not perfect, but I still find it fun and enjoyable. They've also resently released a patch so all the glitches/problems should be gone.

Oh f***ing brilliant. A prestige achievement. NOT GONNA HAPPEN. I'll save my 800 points for Crazy Taxi and Jet Set Radio, thank you very much.
The multiplayer is boring and repetitive, not to mention LAGGY (and don't say it's my connection, when I'm online, I play on a 20mb connection), and not to mention the weapons that are higher up are very unbalanced. I just always seem to run into a bunch of level 40/level 50 bozos who seem to kill you in no more than one shot.

Let's hope this is the last time they try to revive MP.
Hopefully we'll get some SP stuff now.
As for the achievements, I'm kinda on the fence with them.
On one hand, I think it's a cheek to charge 800 points for some DLC that looks crap then only give 150 points for it, but on the other hand, I'm pleased that it is only 150 so that the rest can go on SP stuff. |

Eh I liked the online mode of Bioshock 2 but it was unplayable due to lag. I got a few decent games and it was pretty fun, but I had rented it for the single player anyway.
@50 Uh no its obviously the games network coding dipshit. You don't sit on some throne with some amazing internet, I'm sure half of ours as just as good as yours. When I can play Borderlands, Halo 3, MW2 and whatever else in a row without a hint of lag and then put in Bioshock and join an online lag fest..that hardly means it's my internet. |

| I am also having trouble finding a match in any mode that takes place in the 6 new maps since I downloaded this DLC. Not even in the new mode, Kill'em Kindly was I able to find a match that took place on the new maps. Kind of a shame since the new ones they added, along with getting to Rank 40 were the only achievements I needed to complete this game... for now. |

| this dlc is all screwy on the marketplace right now. cant access the info on the two new characters which are being sold seperately but should be included in metro. plus the golf club mode says its free but also says its an over 200mb download. this is too confusing for me for dlc for a so-so multiplayer experience. i also thought blanche was already a playable character. achievements are nice though. would give me a good reason to go back to multiplayer if i do get metro. |

I believe that the free mode and the 800msp downloads were the same content. I downloaded the free mode first then put points on to download metro, but it said I already had it in my queue. The only thing there was kill 'em kindly. It must be the same content, just when you actually buy it you can access everything. |

| The new achievements, aside from Rebirth, are almost impossible. And to top that off 2k has delayed the update to fix this (by adding a dlc map playlist) until LATE in the summer, if we are lucky. Bioshock 2 is probably my favorite game, but come on 2k! Fuckin A...$10 for new maps that I can't play on and 2 achievements that I can't get. If there are any more DLC achievements released for multiplayer, I think I will kill myself. 2k - do you want my coffin resting on your shoulders? |
