Codemasters today announced that their upcoming International Cricket 2010 title will hit stores across the UK – and presumably Europe – on June 18th, to coincide with this summer’s NatWest series between England and Australia.

The Trickstar Games developed title will look to improve on previous cricket titles out of Codemasters by offering a new “Action Cam,” the new camera that takes players into the thick of the action, and the “Power Stick,” which offers 360 degrees of control with your batting.

With 16 nations and 21 stadia, International Cricket 2010 is looking to bowl a few of you over this summer.

I'll pick this one up... Had a lot of fun with the Ashes game, and an action camera in this one will be very welcome indeed.

I guess like College Football, Rugby and Cricket will always be localized :- It's a shame though, I would have loved to pick this up. Looks pretty good.

I love cricket and I love cricket games!BUT there are still a few issue which codemaster never addressed from Brian Lara to the Ashes Cricket 2009.Will this one be better? Will this be worth buying?I will probably end up getting it any way.

no release for the US big suprise there... I never really followed it but heard it is a pretty good sport. A little off topic but how does MLB have a World Series when all the teams are basically in the states with the exception of one or two in Canada?

@ #8

It's easier to market 'World Series' than it is 'North American Series.'

Anyway, my only exposure to cricket was when I was reading one of the very first TMNT comic books (when they all wore read and were freely violent). Casey Jones had a weapon that my friends and I couldn't identify, and we later found out it was a cricket bat.

Sorry, I know that has nothing to do with the game, but nostalgia took hold. I hope this game pleases those who buy it.

360 degree batting? I wonder if you can pull off the Dilshan scoop? That'd be awesome :P
