Agreed it is an ironice studio name, but i hope this works out good. I do like CoD series, but hopefully these brilliant minds can use this now to spawn (sorry for pun) some new IP's that will be just as great. PeaCe |

@3 If the main developers aren't getting the royalties from the stuff they develop, then why should any developers get anything? And if that's the case, why even have professional game developers? It's not much insentive to get into the profession if you're not going to be respected and paid for the work you do. Besides, they've made really good games so far. I bet they're new franchise will be great. |

What I find interesting is the timing. This is just about a month after they were fired. And in the Activision lawsuit, it claims they had been meeting with "Activision's closest competitor". They would likely have to have been in contact with EA for quite some time before their firing, as I find it highly unlikely they were fired, started interviewing at EA and annouce the formation of a brand new company five weeks time. The game's afoot.... |

No surprise at all, I said this to a mate a couple of weeks ago, low and behold, they've gone back to EA. Remember these 2 guys were involved in MoH when it started, then went to create CoD. What next for EA? They have Battlefield, Medal of Honor, and now potentially another FPS franchise. Seems like we'll have a fair few choices of FPS' to play in the future, happy days X-D |

| Wow you just love using the phrase IP don't you. Think it makes you look intelligent? How about 'game property' or something then, I'm not sure everyone knows what IP means. Hell, even just 'game' quit acting like your real journalists it's getting annoying, I just want short, easy to read game news not a big story. And the whole 'respawn entertainment' thing may be ironic but I'm sure they just named it after FPS games, you people look into this stuff way to much, honestly its just a name. Besides I'd love to see another MW game but something new would be nice, they added way to much shit in MW2, way to much. |
