To conclude today's Splinter Cell: Conviction coverage from the recent UK hands-on event is our chat with the game's Creative Director, Maxime Beland.

Plenty of interesting information being discussed throughout - as usual - where we touch up on the game's delay, why it changed from an 18 to a 15 in the UK, the whole co-op thing, Spies vs. Mercs, achievements (which we exclusively revealed of course!) and so much more.

I am ready for this game. I am ready for this demo as well. I NEED SAM IN MY LIFE!

Also, I love the black and white gameplay mixed with colored enemies.

Forgot to mention. Rating has been changed from 18 to 15? Seriously? I know they said they didn't change anything they normally would to make the rating change. But...I just hope it's not toned down at all. I want all the blood, all the violence and all the language. I want Sam to be the badass he always is.

Splinter cell convictin shoud be only stealth. Thatss what splinter cell is all about. But action is ok

@15 Cuz it isn't like other Splinter Cells, it's a whole new game. I like it though, I really enjoyed the part where Sam placed the mine, EMPed, killed the guy and popped through the window with M&E

No, PEGI gave it an 18 and BBFC gave it a 15.

It's the same game, just with different rating boards.

This game might have something that no other Splinter Cell game had (and I have played all of them): A story that shows Sam fight for something personal. He will not be taking orders, he will have no restrictions, he will fight and kill to find the ones who took away the life of his daughter. Can't wait

@18 I know its the same game, I'm just saying I wondered why one gave it a lower rating than the other thats all. As long as it comes out to be rated "Mature" instead of "Teen" here, then it's aalllll good.

@ The Lovat Scout; Haven't all the other Splinter Cell games been PEGI 16's and 12's? I don't ever remember an SC game being an 18 here in the UK. I used to buy and play the others all the time before I was 18.
