Nothing too exciting here. $10 for 3 maps and hopefully 2 or 3 spec ops scenarios (if they fallow the suite of waw). Way too overpriced. At least nazi zombie mode was a blast and new maps along with it made sense pricewise. Although I have been craving some Afghani zombies^^ |

I got rid of my MW2 because I was tired of all the glitchers, campers, noob tubers, and overall just how stupid some of the kills were, ex. knife through a wall. :/ So I went with BFBC2, and far prefer it, so thus this map pack is useless until the fix what is broken.

MW2's maps are terrible anyway they compensate for campers, so many shitting little hole and corners to hide in. CAMPERS PARRADISE!
I think ill tick with BFBC2 at least it takes a little skill and thought to play, and you 'Don't get rewarded for being a pussy'
I hope that DICE continue to back up an already decent game with great DLC.
MW2 was fun for about a week then hackers and campers ruined it. |

It's great because in BC2 you can party chat and not have to deal with Squeakers! You can team kill too, none of that ricochet malarkey. OT the MW1 maps are amazing, I could think of well over half of the maps were ones that I loved. MW2s maps are so badly designed and boring to play it's not funny. Probably not going to get these maps if they're as bad as the regular maps, I'd have to rate all of them 8/10 or more for me to consider them as opposed to the average 2/10 of the regular maps. By the way there is a glitch on karachi to get out of it, there were loads of guys out of it when I was last playing it about a week ago. |

Amazon let slip a week or so ago that the map pack is coming soon by releasing a special MW2 1200 point card. if u look at the box image it says:
"play modern warfare downloadable content first on xbox live"
so there you go kids 1200 points, it will have 0 achievements and probably just be full of maps from cod4. i suppose you got to pay for legal costs some how. |

MW2 multiplayer sucked in the first place, which is sad to me, to see a great franchise put out crap. I prefer my games to require actual skill to be successful at multiplayer (Left 4 Dead 1 and 2, AVP, Halo3 -battle rifle)
Besides, with no achieves, who cares about new maps? This terrible company is just trying to turn profit, if you really wanted to do something for the community, you'd make more achieves.

MW2 is a broken POS and they would rather make a bunch of map packs that should be free rather then fix the glitches.

I think everyone complaining about glitchers hasn't played MW2 in like a month or so. I play it damn everyday and haven't seen one glitcher.

I have, so have a few of my friends. EVERY match we get constant messages coming in to join boosting lobbies or lobbies that are hacked with the XP glitch.
After 5 matches, leaving and getting a different lobby to avoid those people, then running into different ones doing the same thing, we gave up.

The games are similar and in direct competition, so there's no need to get offended when some people act like idiots on a forum/comment thread. As for your last question - the reason they all have to be d-bags is, and always has been, because they CAN be d-bags. There are no real world consequences for being a jack-ass on the internet. No consequences (i.e. getting a face caved in) = No consideration for others. That about cover it?
For the record, I prefer Bad Company 2, but I don't hate MW2. I just don't play it...because of all the glitching that went on. If it's fixed now, that's great for all the MW2 players, but I'm having too much fun with BC2 to go back. |

Everyone who says WaW sucked really needs to pay attention to a couple things. They are pretty much exactly the same games, except different guns. And MW2 is too easy. Its not very hard to get a long kill streak going with a heartbeat sensor and thermal scope. |

BC2 has its share of campers too in Sqaud DM at least. Had many games just running around the map seeing no one only to find entire teams camped together in a building sniping.

It's too little too late for the map pack.
Bad Company 2 already has quite a few bits of DLC already planned. I can bet that this will be the only map pack that is released for MW2, then Treyarch's CoD game will have tons of support because they love the fans. |

This frankly looks like shit. It took far too long to get a Map Pack out, the multiplayer is still broken and I hated the Map pack for CoD4 (except for Chinatown) and this one doesn't seem to be any better considering Crash is the only appealing one now. |

Anyway, the support IW has given to the community since the success of the original Modern Warfare has been awful. Giving the map pack away for free on Pc while 360/ps3 gamers had to pay for them and now with MW2, the support of IW to it's customers is even worse. All mr Bowling does is announce how big of a hit the game is, instead of working on fixing the f-ing thing or letting the community know what's up (that being his job and all).
This game has been a wreck from the release and dropping a bunch of new/rehashed (probably buggy as hell) maps doesn't make it better... |

Look guys, I only like one game!! And then when a new game comes out, I try to look cool and pretend the new game is the only game I've ever played!! I stared at my 360 for 4 years in anticipation for BC2!! I've never played anything else because every other game sucks!! Or at least that's what I'll tell everyone until another FPS comes out, then I'll pretend BC2 sucked and I only played it on my friend's 360 cause he MADE me!!!
