| Why do people even like the Fable games? Fable was soooo bad. Fable 2, probably just as bad. Molyneux is not some creative genius; I don't see why people act like he's the God of game development. |

I liked pub games. It was fun to screw around with. Just a big gambling parlor game.
I don't mourn it not coming to F3 or anything though. Doesn't need to be revisited. |

| I liked pub games as a sort of mess about and the added 200G is nothing to be sniffed at - I liked the idea of being able to earn gold before the game's release and the fact that you got an achievement for using your own hero in the pub games but it's good that it's not going to be revisited. Maybe a sort of mini RPG? |

While I think that they had the right idea with the Pub Games, I think it was poorly executed. I don't care if I got it free with the preorder, it was still a horribly done and glitched product. I feel sorry for those that actually had to pay money to get it for the achievements/items.
I am trying to have faith that they'll get everything right the third time in, keeping to under-promising but over-delivering. I still, however, have deep concerns with just how much of this game will require the kiddy gimmick known as Natal. |

| until videos and actualy gameplay fable can be anything right now words are hope killers. so shut up with the critics and wait like everyone else. thats all u can do. hopefully a good game. one was fun boring after a while. 2 was great fun but easily beat. 3 will be fallout with more fun. lol |

Haha, grinding spinnerbox to get the roll x10 bet for 7 hours straight was pure torture.
(2nd or last achievement before 100%, so just wanted it done).

As long as its not the same ordeal we had with Fable 2 where we HAD to get Pub Games (or someone else who has) to get a item for a achievement.

| I still fire up Fortune's Tower occasionally because that game was awesome (I did hate the other games that were part of Pub Games, though.) I'm curious what the outside experience will be. I can't wait for it and for Fable 3. |

There were a few problems I had with Pub Games. It wasn't overall a bad game, it was just kind of repetitive. Grinding Spinnerbox for a x10 while on the phone seemed kind of dull, and I wound up doing it after I was off the phone, before I went to bed, when I was supposed to be in bed...then, lone behold. Achievement unlocked.
However, there was another one that bugged me. It was about getting the jackpot in keystone. THAT was not fun. THAT was boring. and time consuming.
You're going to complain about Fable 2 Pub Games? Complain when you've actually gotten the 200 GS like I did, and didn't give up on it 10 minutes in. |

You didn't get one achievement for Fable 2. Not one. You haven't played Pub Games even, so therefore, you do not have the right or reason to talk about the quality of a game if you have not even played it or obtained a single achievement.
Was I the biggest fan of this game? No.
Do I play this game on a regular basis? No.
But at least I gave it my all, gave it a chance, got the 200. And I also got the 1250 in Fable 2 as well.
So, learn to experience a game before you criticize it. It makes the internet look a lot smarter. |

played both fable 1, fable 1 lost chapters, and fable 2, and can say that pub games was at times highlights of fable 2 (ingame pubs),
I like rpgs, but fable doesnt cut it compared to mass effect, or kotor, oblivion or fallout
maybe i just like biowares and bethesda's styles more, idk
fable seems for kiddy even with the dark humor and content,
I enjoy them both but did not like the collecting emotes and such in fable 2.

| i honestly believe fable 2 was a waste of time, no difficulty and spent more time earning money and dancing then i did destroying enemies. i think they have a good idea, decision impact and all, but it needs to grow up a tad for me to want to play again. not hating, just hoping for a more grown up feel to the game |

Perfect Fable? Retain the humour of the series, incorporate the RPG elements of Oblivion with the dialogue and character depth of ME2. Simple, really!

| I did not pre-order Fable II and therefore did not get the pub games DLC but I think it will be interesting to see what they do with this second go. If it costs I probably won't see myself getting it, unless it gets great ratings or something, and for those that say Fable II sucks I definitely think it's a fun play through yes extra short but I saw it at Target new for like $7.99 can't really beat that. |

| those of you bitching about the pub games cause of an item for an achievement are weak, cheap and you need a new hobbie. gaming isn't cheap. i think it was a great way to get fable2 players (who didnt buy new) to purchase it. or if they refused to purchase, it could be a great way to make new friends by turning the orbs on and trading items with other players online. i know some of you are scared of online interaction, but just try it. you would have be trading dolls with many other players aswell for another achievement anyways. and to those who arn't online, boo hoo. you are reading this on the internet. make the connection. online achievements extened a game. they give you a reason to keep playing the game once you've beat it. and finaly to those looking for an easy 1000gs, look else wh |
