| This looks..incredible, though the first one scared me a bit too much at times. With such great graphics, I can only pray that someday, 2K makes an fps that has such epicness like Bioshock, without the scare factor. But by then, it probably wont matter to me. |

| i didnt know L4D's tank went through time !!! lol. I think it will kick ass(even with mp) but wont be as good as the first BioShock. To me, the first one was the most "Original" story line to date. |

Oh great, next week we get to see yet another great game series ruined because kids were crying that there was no multiplayer in a game that is great because of it's story. First it was Grand Theft Auto, then Resident Evil, now Bioshock, and later this year, Dead Space. Oh and let's not forget that apparently Assassin's Creed is getting some form of a multiplayer. Hell even Modern Warfare 2 gave us an unfinished (and crappy) story so it could focus on multiplayer (which good job on that IW considering you let all the hackers and glitchers run the game for about two months.
I just hope games like Tomb Raider, Arkham Asylum, Force Unleashed, and Mass Effect don't fall into this trend. |

| Completely agree with #57 sick and tired of brilliant games being ruined by multiplayers. When are developers gona learn that real gamers dont want shitty multiplayers. By real gamers i mean people who have been playing way before the likes of playstation and xbox even came on the scene. People who appreciate games, and dont just want to get achievements, people who realise the true value of a single player immersion. Not people who just buy games for achievements, or feel the unnecessary need to have multiplayers in every game. multiplayer DOES NOT ruin a game. that makes no sense. its like saying the toast on the side of your breakfast ruined your cereal. if the toast is bad, dont eat it. but its not gonna effect the cereal. the only way for the cereal to bad is for the cereal to be bad.
for fools: cereal = story, toast= multiplayer

While I would agree multi player doesn’t ruin a game, I also agree not every bloody game needs it or Co-op for that matter.
The way MW2 handles MP IMO is good no MP achievements but you earn items etc for playing well thus catering for both sides and keeping the majority happy
Something like that would have been preferable in Bioshock2
To the guy who said gamers are not gamers unless they’ve been gaming for over 15years seriously mate…

| actually #57, MP could ruin a game. if developers spend too much time with the multiplayer then the single player campaign will be neglected. hopefully this isnt the case with bioshock2 though cus they have separate developer teams working on the MP and SP |

| @67 So you say multiplayer does not ruin single player? So would you agree that Halo 2 & 3 story were better then Halo 1's? How about MW2 story compared to MW1's? When everyone starts yelling for multiplayer, it's the story driven fans that gets shafted out of their part of the game. We either usually get a story that is really short and sometimes unfinished. It's fine for movies to have "to be continued" ending because usually the next one is released later in the year. For games though, we have to wait a few years just to see how it ends just because they want to give the "fans" what they want. Not only that but we also have to dish out another $60 to finish it (or rent it). In additon, multiplayer also kills single player DLC. Hell, with the exception of Gears 2, single player alm |
