| No, they unfortunately do not sell those. You can use a pre-paid credit card from a bank if you don't want to use a normal credit/debit card. |

| It's a giant mmo that has employees working on the clock almost all the time to help out players while they are gaming. It is not like a regular game where you get stuck you have to reset ur xbox or email and employee. You go and pm a gm and kind of like getting put on hold the next available worker will be with you shortly. Thanks for the info pants I'll be putting in phantasy star universe once i complete the new mass effect. |

#15: Because I can do what I want with the money I worked for, and this is what I chose? I'd rather have full completion on a retail title than an arcade, plus having the 1000/1250 annoyed me. Oh, and it's an RPG. I'm shooting for #1 on the MGC leaderboard, so every extra point helps. |

| The PC/PS2 version's server are free to play until March 31st. I logged in there earlier today since I had a account with PSU a year ago. It's was literally dead. Kinda sad through because all the hardcore PC/PS2 fans are cursing Sega for still supporting 360. But I can't blame them for being mad though. It was a bitch move on Sega's end when they could've brought it to everyone's attention at the beginning of the month instead of announcing the sever close a week ago. |

I'm happy with the original 1000 in this. Took me quite a while to get it if I remember right, and I don't want to pay the £7, (I think it was that), per month on top of the price of the DLC. |

| This has been out since Jan 8th but I think Pant's is posting about it now because a 1 MONTH long event has started. With this event you will be able to obtain this achievement in 2 weeks or less. There is a subscription because it is updated with new content, and you don't need a gold sub. I have written a lot of info for getting started if your totally new to PSU so with that you should have no problem if you want to complete PSU 1250. Its all in the forums so check it out if your serious about getting this achievement. |

| I'd like to add that people will pay $9 dollars for a weeks long rental for achievment's from blockbuster, but won't pay a subscription of $10 to gain some achievements online, and have 1 month to play it. last I checked your getting more time for your money to play a game for 1 month for $10 than 1 week for $9. And to those that say this game sucks online, its not the same as it was even 6 months ago. The game changes, and the demo is not the same, that does this game now no justice. Also just because you don't like something, doesn't mean that no one else will. |

Just so everyone understands: It costs $10 a month max. If you are just going for the achievements and can finish it quickly, it will cost less. Microsoft actually refunds the unused portion when you cancel your Guardians License (M$ refunding money has to make you smile). I did this rather quickly, without an event. I paid $3.82 on top of the DLC price. Yes it sucks, but you can ease the cost by finishing quickly. |

#38 like most game's nowadays they have a single player and a multiplayer sections (i own this game havent got into it much though) XD the original 1000 on this game is dedicated to the single player the extra 250 gamerscore is dedicated to the multiplayer portion of the game (MMO part) yes you do have to pay to play this online (mainly because it's like WoW) but if you only want to play this game and FF11 then you do not need to buy a gold membership (in other word's if your a mmo nerd then you don't need gold) these 2 games run on silver membership's (because their pay for online games) now if mw2 (or the next Cod) had a pay for online multiplayer (it was rumoured) then most people would cancel their gold subscription seeing as all they would play would be the nex |

@29 why is it so hard to understand you have to pay for a mmo? Even free mmo's have a cash shop that basically screw you over into buying items if you want to play at least a little competitively. I would pay to play this if it was at least a good game as opposed to a mediocre one. Hell I play WoW and Aion currently. |

| tbh i never got round to getting this game, i was a avid fan of pso when it first came out on dreamcast but since all the business about adding a subscription fee, making various spin offs including the card game, ep3: card revolution and the closing of the official pso ep1&2 and blue burst servers. ive had given up on the ps franchise completely but i think i might have to try to get a cheep copy from amazon just for the achievements. |

| @#46 This game is not shutting down any time soon. They are shutting down the PC/PS2 servers of this game because people have dwindled. They said they had a 5 YEAR plan for online content and we are in our 3rd year of that plan. They also stated that closing the PC version is going to bring more content to the 360 faster. For the achievement it will take a minimum of lvl90 to get in the mission. YOU WILL NOT BEAT IT IF YOUR 90 ALONE. Ask anyone in the forums that has run through this. Besides, its a great achievement to go for this month with the exp. event and all. |

The game is completely different offline than it is online. Offline does not hold a candle to online. Sega makes great online RPGS, they just suck at supporting them in the states, especially since we are like 18 months behind Japan in content. And to all of those bitching that you have to play online, IT'S AN MMO! What did you expect? You don't have to pay for xbox live, so you can have a silver account and still play this game online. You people will willingly shell out $10 bucks for 3 maps on Halo 3 and shitty COD games that come out yearly, but god forbid pay a monthly fee for a montly updated game. |
