Lol @2. You actually aren't first. The first one was okay, but this one sounds much better. Will have to wait and see I guess.Tuesday, January 19, 2010 @ 11:55 AM
Awesome, cannot wait, Crackdown was sweet, had a lot of random criticism from "Halo badkids" but Crackdown 2 just keeps sounding better & better, Crackdown over GTA anyday.Tuesday, January 19, 2010 @ 12:03 PM
Demo's are always nice, and gotta love it when 'first' commenters fail :)Tuesday, January 19, 2010 @ 12:04 PM
hope this game doesnt suck like the first one....Tuesday, January 19, 2010 @ 12:06 PM
lol yeh but if people didnt say "first" etc then they would never get it wrong and there would be no1 to take the piss out of ;) This looks good, but im REALLY put off by the zombie-infested-city-massive-prototype-con-idea. was way way better wen u fought gangsters and mobsters :)Tuesday, January 19, 2010 @ 12:10 PM
I thought the first crackdown was terrible, wont be picking up this oneTuesday, January 19, 2010 @ 12:12 PM
Awesome, I cannot wait for this. Where's a decent time machine...Tuesday, January 19, 2010 @ 12:14 PM
1st one was brilliant. Damn Orbs kept me addicted for hours, can't wait for the 2nd. Although helicopters defeat the idea of jumping around a city...Tuesday, January 19, 2010 @ 12:25 PM
Mmm, orbs. Bring them on! I kicked their ass last time, I will kick their ass again. Also, demo! Demo demo demo demo demo!Tuesday, January 19, 2010 @ 12:34 PM
I gotta search for Crackdown 1 and buy it before this comes out.Tuesday, January 19, 2010 @ 12:42 PM
@#1 Yes. Yes you do. I admit I bought the first one for the halo 3 beta (who didn't?) but I ended up falling in love with the game.Tuesday, January 19, 2010 @ 12:47 PM
Sweetness, give me demo please, yes thank you.Tuesday, January 19, 2010 @ 12:48 PM
The Halo 3 beta is what sold me on the first one but I ended up loving it. Can't wait for Crackdown 2. Looks better in every way.Tuesday, January 19, 2010 @ 12:55 PM
After Prototype I want nothing more to do with orbs in my entire life, evar.Tuesday, January 19, 2010 @ 01:08 PM

I've never had so much fun with a game as crackdown. So this one will be on day 1. That is, unless I'm dry on money and have to buy Red Dead Redemption.Tuesday, January 19, 2010 @ 01:35 PM
yet another class A sandbox game i cant wait to dive into, loving the infected city spin they have in this one aswell, even tho its ripped directly from prototype, and that was ripped from Spidey:WoS, but i dont care! killing the infected NEVER GETS OLD.Tuesday, January 19, 2010 @ 02:04 PM
@1 You can get a used copy of Crackdown in a game store for under $10, you can't go wrong with that price. Nice, I loved the first one and hope the demo is MP or co-op.Tuesday, January 19, 2010 @ 03:19 PM
When i first started playing the 1st game i thought it was pretty good, but then that wore off and it started to get kinda boring... needless to say, i still have never finished it, and doubt i ever will Lets hope this is better, otherwise i won't be getting itTuesday, January 19, 2010 @ 03:22 PM
Give me a release date and a collector's edition, Ruffian! The first one remains my favorite sandbox games after three years, despite GTA4.Tuesday, January 19, 2010 @ 04:19 PM
Can't wait, just hope it doesn't come out the same time as splinter cell or red dead redemption.Tuesday, January 19, 2010 @ 07:36 PM
Hopefully the gamne is split-screen.Tuesday, January 19, 2010 @ 07:47 PM

An interview conducted by IGN has revealed a whole bunch of new information regarding Ruffian Games' forthcoming Crackdown sequel.
First of all, there will be a pre-release demo coming to Xbox Live although Ruffian is currently unprepared to reveal any specifics just yet.
"You can definitely expect a demo to hit Live before the game is out but I can't say when that will be... yet," said the game's Producer, James Cope.
Secondly, we can expect to see the return of skill orbs, such as those oh so collectible green agility ones, which will contribute to your ability level presumably in a similar fashion to Crackdown 1, although Cope claimed that the levelling system is still under wraps and skill orbs "are obtained slightly differently."
Finally, and perhaps the most exciting bit of news is the inclusion of helicopters complete with weapon attachments.
"Helicopters are an important part of the game and without giving too much away, are used extensively by the Agency Peacekeepers in assisting the Agent in his tasks. Ultimately, the Helicopter unlocks for player control as well and is fast becoming one my favourite things in Crackdown 2 because it's also an armed vehicle," Cope states in the interview.
Wow. It all sounds absolutely incredible.
The game is slated for release sometime this year. Exact date is still yet to be confirmed.
