Special Delivery! There's a Brink Character Customisation Trailer at Your Door

Admittedly I get some bizarre and wonderful things that come to my door almost daily. Sometimes they're game related, sometimes they try to be too clever and fall flat on their face. Today however was a first. When I opened my front door this morning, a portly fella stood at the door with a box that was over a foot long. In it, a character customisation trailer for Brink.

Of course there was more than that - there was a couple of posters as well, ha! - but I have to say that's the first time a game trailer has been delivered to my front door in a box that was big enough to house a Hobbit. Barmy stuff.

I've waffled on enough, there are photos of the package below the video for whoever is interested in seeing the contents, but in the meantime, check out the most environmentally damaging game trailer you're ever likely to see. Trees were harmed in the publishing of this video!

Rumour has it Bethesda are sending out two trailers next month and they'll be strapped to the back of a baby Harp Seal.

  • nice.. i want that
  • wish i had this stuff delivered to my door :P
  • At any point in the future will you disable user ratings before launch? Stupid that this game has a 72% when so little is known.
  • @#4 - Disabling 1,000 game rating scales before launch and then changing them when the game ships isn't as easy as you make out. The scores even out when the game's out and 1,000 people have rated it... We are working on something, but getting it to be self sufficient is the key ;)
  • The game looks great so far. Even though I've nto seen much, it does look really good. Haha, must be great having a load of promo stuff shipped to your door though. (Disregarding the fact that you would run out of room quickly with it)
  • @4 I agree. Should be disabled until game is released.
  • nice parcel there webb. i expect to see it on ebay in the next week! =P
  • Cannot WAIT. REALLY looking forward to this one.
  • Wow I love the posters, very cool
  • I loooove Bethesda. And I live about an hour away from their offices. (in case anyone wanted to know if I'd make it after you blow Megaton - I wouldn't)
  • Wow. . . . surprisinglly Brink seems just that more epic
  • @4 I agree with you, DJ Hero is a prime example of why it should be disabled before launch, it still has a user rating in the 40's. I loved Saints Row 2's character avatar customisation and this looks even better, hopefully we can run around naked in the MP like you could in SR2. Everytime I would see a big fat guy avatar running around naked, I would think of Peter Griffin from the family guy lol. To bad we can't customise the MS avatars like this, I might actually care about them then.
  • The outfits in the ad actually have me a lil interested in this game now. Awesome posters by the way. :)
  • I was very hesitant about this game when I first heard of it. But, I have to admit, it's starting to look better with every piece of content they give us.
  • very vibrant, loving the graphics.
  • man i wish i had seemingly random posters delivered to my door especially when they are that awesome
  • Feels very meh this far
  • Looks really cool. Awesome poster with the molotov thing
  • What game is that???I dont get it.
  • I've been following this game since I first heard about it. I can NOT wait for this game. I recently got 3 other friends to commit to pre-ordering this game. gonna be SWEET.
  • hahah sweet i was kinda skeptical of this game from the start with the whole being a FPS with platforming like in Mirror's Edge but im loving the charecter coustimization also dude.....how cani get promo shit shipped to me?? haha got room for a game critic/fanatic in ur squad :P
  • For anyone that has any doubts about this game, just remember. BETHESDA!!!!!
  • damn this game just got so much better!, this is my 2nd most wanted this year now
  • Excuse my ignorance here, but what is the little sky blue credit card sized thing in the pictures ?
  • Can I have one of your posters, pretty please?? =)
  • @23 Uhhhhh yeah - they also made Wet.....
  • I. WANT. THIS. GAME. NOW! I watched the preview trailer and even that short example of what you can do got me hooked..
  • @ #20 - Think of it of a mix between Borderlands and Mirrors Edge!
  • @25 Im guessing a usb key with the trailer on it
  • @25 - The little blue credit card thing is a pen drive with the trailer on it =P @#27 - Actually, A2M made WET... Bethesda only published it. Similarly here, Splash Damage are making and Bethesda are publishing.
  • Yeah, my preorder is definitely warranted here. Looks beautiful.
  • It does look rather interesting. My pre-order list is getting out of control
  • Day 1 buy for me !!!!!
  • Looks nice, but I still dont know what this is about. Is it a multiplayer only shooter like Shadowrun? Definately my most interesting game right now, plus it's by Bethseda!
  • No head-gear preview = epic fail. However, the game = epic win.
  • Don't know what to make of this game. Is it an online shooter with massive upgrading or some sort of co-op game? Co-op is great for anything so I'm hoping for that, but I'll look into this.
  • I'll keep my fingers crossed but I won't hold my breath. Bethesda has been putting bad stuff recently. And I don't mean good.
  • Looks alright but like all games a demo would be nice. They may be rough builds but they really help to give an idea of what the overall game is like (see Dark Void, Bayoneta and Dante's Inferno demos).
  • I hope this game will be open world... or I might wont get it =/
