These achievements seems to be beyond time consuming.
15-30 hours depending on how good you AND your friends are. The tournaments seems too long and theres no saving mid mission. I dont have time for 5+hour non stop gaming sessions so i personally hate these. |

I can see a lot of QQ over how long it takes to get the achievements and to complete the dlc. Tbh, I dont know why people are so sad that they'd use 800 points just for 125 gamerscore, instead of paying to points to enjoy the actual dlc.

| this dlc is no good so far. Im a veteran Borderlands player with the full 1125 bfor this dlc, i'm level 50, got a great character and a awesome shotgun, and yet i can't make it past round 2 on my own. Its far too hard and I cant believe you have to start from round 1 again when you die. All i can think now is i hope my friend will buy the game again. |

Got this, this afternoon, put it on just on playthrough one to see how it is and they are already level 50?
Plus, I prefer playing games solo, but it's like they are forcing you to play co-op.
I done the first 5 waves, thought, good, that's one arena down, then it clicks that it wants 5 rounds.
Switched it off and started playing The Maw.
As far as I'm concerned this has nothing to do with gaming ability, it's the exact same as their Zombie Ned thing where you collect all these brains then you find out they don't count since the quest hasn't been activated.
Just a dumb little thing to lengthen the game further.

It's really not that bad, I think its a great dlc, really adds a good amount of extra playing hours to a very fun game. And it is possible to get through it with 2 players quite easily.
And all you people complaining about reaching level 50, just play through the main story, you easily reach level 50 by around half way of the second play through.
I am glad i spent 800MSP on this :) Not everything is just about gamerscore. Try playing for fun rather than just wanting every game to be another Avatar achievement list |

if you need exp, just boost it as long as you've beaten it. Find a lvl 50 who's beaten both playthroughs and just go places and rape shit. Ultimate rakk hive will probably give you an entire lvls worth & he's easy as hell to kill. Need someone to boost ya? Shoot me a FR or Message & i'll get you there in no time.
Also, are those with "special" weapons having as hard of a time? |

| I'll tell you, these 'Cheeves aren't all too hard but man do they take awhile! My buddy and I spent 3 hours beating the "Prove Yourself" quest today! Good fun, but be sure the host is a relatively low level and the participants are higher. We found out the hard way that two 50s against hordes upon hordes of 50s doesn't end well! |

| For a while, I actually gave a damn about my completion %, but fortunately no more. The feeling of accomplishment when I 1000 a game is gone, since I never can tell if I truly have finished it. DLC is fine, but applying achievements is not. Besides, 125G for 800 MSP is a robbery. Thumbs down. |

| Downloaded this earlier. It's fun but annoying as it's almost impossible to do in single player, i'm a level 50 hunter on playthrough 2 with about 35 proficiency on my revolver and sniper rifle, and i can't get past about wave 3 of round 2 if i'm lucky, also rounds are wayyyyyyyyyy too long. Shame really cos i enjoyed the original game and zombie island loads. |

| What a bunch of haters. My crew and I blasted through the the first set in a few hrs. You can stop in the first mission after each section is completed. It took us about 1 hr per section, maybe a little longer if you don't have decent weapons. I haven't done the longer missions yet but I do agree that they do take time but I don't really mind that much. And I haven't seen any good weapons drop yet either. Make sure you have a good crew to run with. |

Correction on my previous post, the expansion should be pretty fun as long as you have a good group. Definitely wouldn't be much of a fan trying to do this solo.

| It took me 2 1/2hrs to beat one of the 20 round areas.. But it was fun.. I now have 60/60 achievements... Its not an area I will be playing daily but its worth it for the bank |

Is anyone getting good weapons from the end round drops? I played the longer challenge in hell-burbia and it was all green crap with the occasional mediocre blue/purple. I was hoping for a better hellfire.
DLC is well worth it for the bank and extra skill point in addition to the hours of gameplay. Well worth 800 points.

| been playing the arena's on second play through with my brother who is a level 49 and my character level 50. he's siren and im hunter we seem to do really good because we have knocked 2/3 of the greater challenges out, we dont even get downed. i will admit it gets borring after a while so we put it on pause for a few hours then return. all you have to do for the dlc is take it in at small amounts but it is really fun. as for the exp problem, it doesn't give exp for every kill but the kills you get add to your challenges so you can get a easy 20,000 exp by completing the challenges. i mean you get atleast 400-600 kills when you complete the greater challenges isn't hard at all |
