In the last of the coverage stemming from EA's Winter Showcase, we turn our attention towards Dante's Inferno, a title that has been surrounded in controversy in recent months.

In this slightly extended interview, we ask some pivotal questions regarding the upcoming Visceral Games title, based off the Dante Alighieri poem. We ask Executive Producer, Jonathan Knight how he feels about the claims that they're profiteering off classic literature, question how close to the source material the game is, ask what separates it from the competition and touch upon the design work of the enemies and levels... and so much more. An interview brimming full of information and one that can't be missed.

Dante's Inferno is coming out February 9th in North America and February 12th in Europe. The demo for the title is dropping in December.

This game looks promising, a bit like God of War and Devil may Cry combined.

I thought Dead Space was great and hopefully this turns out great, it sounds like its on the right track. He does make a good point, until this game I never really had an interest in the poem.

I still don't have any interest in the poem, but I am hyped for this game.

Definitely going to pick this one up. @#3 You should at least read the Cliff Notes or something for the poem; you might find that you are actually interested in the literature.

I've seen the videos, the screens, and the interviews... But I still don't see why people think this looks like such a fun game...
