Enter The Creed: The AC2 Interviews: Episode 5: The Franchise: Present & Future

Enter The Creed: The AC2 Interviews: Episode 5: The Franchise: Present & Future
Written Saturday, November 14, 2009 by Dan Webb

We've pretty much covered every single angle of Assassin's Creed 2 so far in the previous 4 episodes of Enter The Creed. In today's fifth and final episode, we look at the franchise and how they've attempted to strengthen the brand with Lineage, their plans for Assassin's Creed 3 and post-release Assassin's Creed 2 support.

If you missed them, check out all the previous episodes here, here, here and of course, here.

That pretty much wraps up the coverage for Assassin's Creed 2 which is out in a matter of days... except for the review of course. So keep checking back here next week to see how it scores.

Fail! I feel your pain. I went through the same thing when ODST came out back in September. I bought the game loaded it; got through the opening sequence then the E74 message appeared the next time I loaded it. I had to wait three weeks to fight the fight.

This or L4D2? I guess I'll just have to get both. My wallet sure has been taking a beating lately...

I have really lost track of time lately. Ever since about a week before modern warfare 2 came out I have lost track of things. I had forgotten how close from now this comes out, and now I am having a mini panic attack trying to figure out how I am going to get my hands on it.

I hope they dont make the next installment to far in the future and have to put guns in it. I think that will defeat the object of the previous titles.

@15 It isn't like the first one really. They took out all the annoying things and improved on it alot. It's a definite buy for me, but I don't think you'll get through it with just a rental

Downloadable content - achievements or no achievements - will you buy it with or without them?
If the content is good, or for a game I love, I'll buy it regardless of whether chievos are included
I'll still buy and play the downloadable content, but achievements would be nice.
Who the hell cares!?
No achievements, no sale ... and that goes for any game ... whether you're GTA or Halo!
Just stop with the DLC achievements full stop ... you're ruining my completion percentage dammit!
