Enter The Creed: The AC2 Interviews: Episode 1: The Setting

Enter The Creed: The AC2 Interviews: Episode 1: The Setting
Written Tuesday, November 10, 2009 by Dan Webb

Today we launch Episode 1 of our 5 part Assassin's Creed 2 video interview digest. From now, and everyday throughout the week, we'll bring you the insights of the development team from their Ubisoft studios in Montreal, as we talk everything Assassin's Creed.

This first episode looks at the game's setting as we quiz the development team on why they chose the Renaissance, how they captured the authenticity of the city, how they made the streets feel more alive and so much more.

Keep your eyes peeled throughout the videos as well as we're sneaking in some never before seen B-roll to keep you on your toes. Why? Because we can! Check us out!

Don't forget to check back tomorrow for Episode 2. There will be a quiz at the end of the week, so pay attention. Don't make me get that whip out... again!

Hate the Hype that every A-game surrounds these days.

More hype means more impulsive sales

This game is getting waaay too much coverage. Apparently people forgot that this is a rent-only game.

@#6 - And you base that statement on what? The fact that there is 40 + hours of gameplay? Potential for DLC as well? Sounds like a looooooooong rent =P

Think I'm gonna have to start ignoring all the ACII stuff soon :p

Don't get me wrong, I'm really looking forward to it, but all the hype will ruin it.

Same as MW2 imo.
If you got into all the hype you would be disappointed, but if you didn't you would enjoy it much more since you would have ridiculously high expectations.

#12 Most certainly. This year was quite a weak one, so AC2 has all chances to win the prize! ;-) Am i the only one who thinks that there was nothing cool in 2009 beside Arkham Asylum and COD6?
... I have the feeling the answer is "yes" ^_^

I tried to pre-order the black limited edition PAL: Not a chance... Sold out everywhere. It must be EXTREMELY limited.

What's the limitation? 5 items worlwide? ;)

Downloadable content - achievements or no achievements - will you buy it with or without them?
If the content is good, or for a game I love, I'll buy it regardless of whether chievos are included
I'll still buy and play the downloadable content, but achievements would be nice.
Who the hell cares!?
No achievements, no sale ... and that goes for any game ... whether you're GTA or Halo!
Just stop with the DLC achievements full stop ... you're ruining my completion percentage dammit!
