Gears of War 2 Multiplayer Anniversary Events Written Friday, November 06, 2009 by Alan Pettit In honor of Gears of War 2's release, Epic has announced a mega event running from today until Monday the 16th. Included in this will be Triple XP in all game types, including Horde mode. All games will run in "Tactical" mode, featuring increased weapon damage but decreased ammo counts, longer bleed-out times and "other subtle tweaks." Public Horde will be bumped to Hardcore. And finally, all playlists will be split out invidually, meaning you can choose a single game type without the risk of getting voted to something you don't want. This will be a great time to work on those original achievements for meatflags, as well as a big push for anyone working toward rank 100 online. To recap:
