Blurry Halo: Reach Screens Leaked onto the Net? Written Friday, November 06, 2009 by Dan Webb Bungie and Microsoft's upcoming 2010 Halo title, Reach, is a unknown quantity at the moment. Aside from a few voices and a few Spartan silhouettes that featured in the E3 teaser from this year, and knowing it's set on Reach, that's pretty much all we know. That and it's being built on a new engine. A series of blurry screens hit the net recently over on the MLG forums with claims that they were taken during a recent playtest at the Microsoft Studios. The screens have been subsequently removed, but thanks to the always resilient NeoGAF community, we can bring them to you below. What's your call? Fake or legit? All we know is, the cameraman needs castrating! Damn blurry photos! Oh, and check out that Needler/Covenant Carbine hybrid weapon in the penultimate picture! Uber sexy!        | |

I wonder how that'll work in the Halo universe, considering the Battlefield games have bigger servers - take Bad Company and 1943, for example. And I see they made the health system look similar the original Halo's, so that's a plus on it from me. Also, @91, I don't think that's the case. Halo 3 and ODST had crosshairs that were in the middle, but slightly lower from the center. If Reach's HUD doesn't stray far from its predecessors (which looks to be the case), then Project Natal may not have anything to do with the crosshair's position. |
