Assassin's Creed 2 is Faction-tastic

Assassin's Creed 2 is Faction-tastic
Written Thursday, November 05, 2009 by Dan Webb

If you're going to get anywhere in Assassin's Creed 2 when it ships mid-November, heed this advice, you will want to take advantage of the factions in the cities where possible.

These factions as Ubisoft call them, are probably better described as allies. Want someone distracting? Need some assistance in a ruckus? Then get out your cash and pay for some assistance. Who said an assassin needs to work alone? All the greatest assassins need help, it's a fact... okay, it's probably not a fact, but lets pretend it is. Check out the latest Assassin's Creed 2 focus video below where the attention falls on the game's factions.

If you haven't already, check out our Assassin's Creed 2 in-depth preview here.

yet another bard gets it at the end lol

i think its quite cool how you learn to climb from thieves, instead of just knowing how to do it.

cant wait for this game, its gonna be a sweet relief from modern warfare 2 after the amount of hours im no doubt going to put into it haha

Looking good..busy replaying AC1 and apart from the repetitive missions..I'm loving it.
Looking forward to AC2.

I preferred the voice actor for Altair, but I suppose you can't use the same one, different people and all...

Still, can't wait for this game, it seems to have been forgotten by some people this week, because of MW2 but I'm still looking forward to this more than that.

And woo Black Edition, got that pre-ordered, the White Edition seems pointless anyway, it's less for the same price, I believe.

Yeah I'm really looking forward to this.

And Callum, the White edition is £10 cheaper than the Black edition.
But like you say, it's only a figure you get in the White edition.

Still, for me I've got both on order.
(A friend bought Borderlands and gave me it, so in exchange I'm giving him one of the copies. So pretty much ends up as £20 for the figure which isn't too bad. He isn't into all the extras that go with games).

AWESOME!! I am so excited for this game. It is gonna be SOO worth it. Only thing that sucks is I am getting Modern Warfare 2 one week before this. Will have to beat it in one week.

Downloadable content - achievements or no achievements - will you buy it with or without them?
If the content is good, or for a game I love, I'll buy it regardless of whether chievos are included
I'll still buy and play the downloadable content, but achievements would be nice.
Who the hell cares!?
No achievements, no sale ... and that goes for any game ... whether you're GTA or Halo!
Just stop with the DLC achievements full stop ... you're ruining my completion percentage dammit!
