Left 4 Dead 2 Demo Now Available for Gold Members Written Tuesday, November 03, 2009 by Dan Webb It was the turn of the pre-orderers to get their hands on the Left 4 Dead 2 demo last week. Today, those of you who were on the fence about the title and have an Xbox Live Gold account, now have the chance to sample its delights. The demo weighs in at a massive 2GBs - that's a lot of zombies! - and "will feature gameplay from the Parish campaign, set in New Orleans' French Quarter, and will also feature all the new Special Infected bosses as well as all the new melee weapons." | |

I'm sure the article made a rough estimate to the size. Anyway, didn't like the demo. every match lagged badly. When l4d lagged it wasn't so bad, but this game is ten times worse. The characters don't seem to be very fleshed out, and the dynamic speech are just triggers. As they would say the same thing over and over each time you got to the trigger. Not to mention all the new guns behaved just like the old ones, but with more ammo and a new model jacked/revamped from another source game. New weapons are alot of fun, I gotta admit I LOVE throwing the Bile Bomb at the Walking Witches.... I just gotta say that the stupid Editted Version for Australia is gonna suck asshole, Zombies disapear before they even hit the ground dead, BUT you can still see piles of human corpses in body bags... Go figure... Valve, good effort, the game looks epic, but fuck...1.69 gig for only 2 chapters is amazingly huge... not THAT bad I guess, but still, not very replayable atm. Would of liked a small taste of Scavange. |
