5 New Metro 2033 Screens

5 New Metro 2033 Screens
Written Monday, November 02, 2009 by Dan Webb

THQ and Ukranian developer, 4A Games, recently released another batch of screens for their upcoming post apocalyptic shooter, Metro 2033, which they announced a few weeks ago.

Set beneath the snowy streets of Moscow, Metro 2033 follows the struggling human race as they try to get to grips with their new life in the subway system and a new way of life. Sharing a world with mutants is not as appealing as it sounds, you know!

Metro 2033 is out early 2010 on Xbox 360 and PC. Check out the Metro 2033 gallery here for all the new screens.

Typical genre, typical story, will receive typical hype. Looks pretty though. Wake me up if it's at all like Black.

not much news today.... nothing like the post apocalytpic game-play to earn a few dollars... might not play, but now I'm interested in the novel...

@6
Black? Most likely not, but that was great game. Still hoping for a black 2 so I hope Criterion's next project is namely so. Metro 2033 is just trying to cash in on that mutant/post apocalyptic theme that's so popular right now. Well, at least its better then a Twilight game, God forbid.

@11 - uh, no? this isn't 'fallout 3 but in russia.' Not every apocalyptic shooter = fallout 3.

This is supposed to be a STALKER-esque game. I thought this was cancelled as I had been following it for a few months. Look up STALKER, a PC-only set of games, which has you as a scavenger-style wanderer in an irradiated Chernobyl setting fighting other wanderers and mutants while grabbing up better guns and armor. I might have to buy this.

Looks good, have to keep an eye out on it.

#20 get your head out of the sand retard, you probably said Borderlands was a Fallout rip-off. Stop being a tool.

Poll

Downloadable content - achievements or no achievements - will you buy it with or without them?
If the content is good, or for a game I love, I'll buy it regardless of whether chievos are included
I'll still buy and play the downloadable content, but achievements would be nice.
Who the hell cares!?
No achievements, no sale ... and that goes for any game ... whether you're GTA or Halo!
Just stop with the DLC achievements full stop ... you're ruining my completion percentage dammit!
