| Many games are attempting to pull off an endless enemies mode now. Seems decent that you have to move to specific points, but not enough to entice me to pre-order. |

@8 its a free download in Feb. and pre-ordering it doesn't cost you anything. I agree its BS you actually had to pay for the MP mode in Resident Evil 5 to, but this isn't like RE5 this is a free DLC.
Unfortunately i'll probably end up never playing this mode. Theres to many other games releasing for me to pre-order all of them and by the time its free i'll be playing Mass Effect2, Bioshock 2, and Lost Planet 2 and after that BFBC2 is goint to take over my life. |

Kind of interesting that it's 4 player co-op when the game only has two main protagonists.
I dig on developers implementing this "horde" style gameplay, it adds a lot more longevity and replay ability to their games. The first Army of 2 was pretty fun, though not fun enough for me to preorder the 2nd even with this bonus. Especially if the bonus is going to be free a month later when the price may be dropped a little for the game itself. |

| Funny Horde didn't do this type of gameplay style first when you just shoot enemies just because you can. Rainbow 6 did it first years ago. |

| this is good news. this is the pre order deals they should do. didnt they do something for exclusive weapons with a gamestop pre-order last time. i dont have them and wish they would be on the marketplace. i wouldnt care if they even charged a bit for the pre order guns for the first game. so is this dlc gonna be like the veteran map pack for the first game? free and with chievos? anyways...liked the first one and will probly get the second one after the price drops a few months after the release. i am always more willing to buy a game that has free dlc for it then a game that has paid dlc. naturally |

Rainbow 6 had T-Hunt, no endless wave style things. Gears of War nailed it with Hoarde mode. If we're just talking Players vs AI, well, we've been doing that since Perfect Dark 64. Proxy Mines FTW!

I was gonna pre order it anyway, bcos i loved the 1st game..
and i love that developers are are putting in survival/horde modes now.. they used to do stuff like that in the old days. they add a different level to a game.
R6V has Terrorist hunts
GoW has Horde
WaW has Zombies
Halo has Firefight
Resi 5 has Mercenries
MW2 has Spec ops |
