LEGO Rock Band is due out this coming November.

The full track listing is as follows:

All American Rejects, “Swing, Swing”
The Automatic, “Monster”
Blink-182, “Aliens Exist”
Blur, “Song 2”
Bon Jovi, “You Give Love a Bad Name”
Boys like Girls, “Thunder”

@7

So people can actually play vocals on them.

Well, maybe that's being mean. I'll admit GH5's vocals are a significant improvement.

Back on topic. I for one like this setlist, and see tracks here my family would enjoy. Therefore, will buy. I've been fucking waiting for stuff like Two Princes and Summer of 69 to hit Rock Band. Awesome news to wake up to.

Not a bad setlist, and looks like fun. Even when the game gets boring, just import the songs into RB2 and keep playing the ones you like.

Not liking the newly revealed songs here. Valerie by The Zutons is one of my most hated songs ever. Overall imo this setlist is 60% good and 40% bad. I'm still getting the game though so I can get a quick 1000 points, export the songs to RB2 and sell the game on ebay.

this setlist looks like it wqas made for 12 year olds.....though it is a Lego game.....so i guess that was their intention. definite no buy. but hey they tried, waste of production money in my opinion (though it will sell because i know there are people out there that own like all of these games.

word up.

I will *probably* not get this, as I only counted four songs that I'd want to export. If it's the same $5 fee, then no, it's not worth it.

In case you didn't catch on with the "LEGO" in the title, this is meant to be a "family game", not a "hardcore" music game. Check out the setlist for DJ Hero if it's more adult themed songs you want. This game should be pretty fun, and with The Final Countdown, Ghostbusters, and the rest, it'll def be entertaining.

I love that it will be 5 bucks to get the songs. So I can rent it, get 100GS, export the songs and give it back and have 45 songs for under 10 bucks. Awesome!

This list is way better than the GH5. And A-Punk is one of the songs I like and no it's also for Rock Band.

Greatest suprise for me is Dreaming of You. Since I heard it in the second season of scrubs (when JD and elliot make out again clumsy knocking a lamp over) I absolutly love that song.

Most people commenting about how "crappy" the setlist is need to take a step back and look at WHAT THE FUCKING GAME IS CALLED.

99% of us aren't 10 years old, but a good 70+% of people who want this game are either 10 or adults with children.

Besides, no one setlist from any music game has nailed it. There will always be good songs that are fun to play, bad songs that are retarded, good songs that suck to play (I'm looking at Hotel California), and retarded songs that are somewhat entertaining to play.

So quit your bitching. This isn't meant to be Guitar Hero: Metallica or Rock Band 2. It's meant to be Rock Band: The Top 40's Hits.

...That, and whoever said Guitar Hero's setlist is better is on crack. Both this and GH5 have an equal amount of suck, and Band Hero's going to t

To satisfy the people who hate the variety of music in this game (for me it's decent. Not the best but a bunch of good songs and a few awesome) they need to come out with a Rock Band: Hardcore Poser edition. Throw in a long hair wig for those headbangingly incomprehensible pig squealing that somehow counts as music these days, and a "star power" heroine needle. Buy the whole package and recieve a quintuple bass pedal attachment free!

Why do they put great songs I really want to play in a game I don't want to play?! Iggy Pop, Word Up, and specially FIRE by Hendrix! I want to play fire!

Wish I didn't saw the setlist cause this is gonna annoy the hell out of me. WHY?!

I don't get why they have to mix great songs with piece of shit softcore pop who kills my ears! Damn! Fuck! Ass! Faen! Helvete! Perkele! Fitte! Møkk! Kukk! Balle! Jævla dritt! Scheize! Not sure if I spelled the last one right tough.

I've been eyeing up the setlist for ages now, and the only thing i was excited for was Dig by Incubus (and not particularly because I like the song itself, but, hey, it's Incubus! I was quite confident that there was bound to be a few more songs that were must have but i'm really disappointed. I can't imagine any average 10 year old would know even a quarter of these songs

WOW they finally put Sum 41 in a rhythm game. Sum 41 is awesome! Still not picking it up for full price if it only has 45 tracks.

Hopefully though this means that they will be adding Sum 41 DLC for Rock Band 2 sometime in the future.

lucky for me, i no longer have to buy this game, for 3 reasons: 1. the achievements are easy as pie. 2. My brother will get this for christmas undoubtedly. 3. I can steal said copy and import all the songs into my massive RB2 library.

As for the setlist... i am feeling a resounding "meh". And what the heck is with this 45 song garbage? They really should be putting more songs in this, as their competition, GH is overloading their games with songs.

Oh yea and plz to can haz RB3?

I'm getting this. I'll beat it, unlock what achievements I can, paying to export all songs to RB2, then selling.

I love how everyone's complaining about the setlist, when this isn't a game directed at the "RAWR HARDCORE 10 MINUTE SOLOS" audience.

OMG! I was unsure on some of the songs , but INCUBUS! It is about time I know its only one song but maybe they will put Sick Sad Little World sometime. Not to mention Bryan Adams, Bon Jovi(also on GH5 :P), more Tom petty!, and Queen (even though we get the big track pack this month too). But still some songs I could do without but easy achievements and some good songs count me in!

Looks decent but it's edging to less of a buy but more of a borrow from my 10 year old cousins. If it turns out good then I'll buy when cheaper.

Taking this off topic. I hope they never put gay ass Slipknot on any rock band, either on disc or dlc. They suck terribly.

This game. Ugh. I'll probably buy it. Not too happy about the setlist BUT it is geared more towards the younger generations, so I can live with it. Besides, there are a few gems on there like Hendrix, Jackson 5, Foo Fighters, and the Lostprophets song they picked isn't TOO unbearable. I believe WWE used it in a Jeff Hardy promo before. Plus, LEGO games are always cool. The character customization will be really fun.

It will cost $10 to export and they are going down the GH route where you have to use the one-time only code on the back of the manual.

this setlist rocks. you people are so silly. Oh that one song is in this GH game or that GH game. Well who gives a shit, ultimately if your a rock band fan its a good thing that they are taking all the songs because you know what it means when you import them. NO DISC SWAPPING!

I count 4 songs that were in GH games. Grow up. also do the math, this is $90 worth of DLC. Seems like a pretty good deal to me, spend 20 bucks less get new game features, something new to play, and some new art.....

I count only 5 songs in this that were in any Guitar Hero game, so people, quit your bitching.

Also Rock Band has almost 1000 songs available, they are able to have repeats with GH.

Also Song 2 was announced on Lego Rock Band before it was announced on GH5. One less.

sounds like a setlist for kids to me. i might buy then export then sell just for the few songs on it that look interesting. but idk yet. ghostbusters, kung fu fighting and final countdown sound interesting. if i export this list it will be only for a handful of these songs. but seriously this is a crappy setlist. they could have put some good hardrock songs on it at least.

I really don't understand where some of these people are coming from...RB1 and RB2, full price, full export, big setlist. GHWT, Smash Hits, and GH5 full price, half-export, big setlists. GH Metallica and Van Halen, FULL PRICE, short setlist, no export...RB Beatles and RB Lego, both with expensive licensing, full price and short setlist, one with export as an option. RB also has 4 track packs (Vol.2, Country, Classic, Metal) which are half priced, short setlist, and have full export.

@6 look at band hero

Why does RB copy most of GH songs? Vice Versa.

Why don't they just combine together, make a new game per year with 300+ songs. Everyone wins!

I'd like to point out, since it wasn't mentioned in the article, that you need to have the code from the back of the manual and 800 MS points to export the songs, so I don't think renting will work if you're planning to export, unless you're the first person to rent it and your local rental store actually puts the manuals in with the game rentals.

Honestly, I am getting tired of music games in general. This is mostly because when I play a new Guitar Hero or Rock Band, there are always songs that I have already played once before. This game just adds to it. I wasn't going to get this in the first place because, well come on, its LEGO Rock band. I am 17 years old and have grown out of legos. But if I have to choose which I prefer, I will say Guitar Hero because their drums are funner to play and more challenging.
