Wednesday, September 30, 2009 @ 10:29:51 AM At least they are providing the content to 360 owners. This also supports my idea that you will be able to play the Alternative Edition with standard controls if you would like. There was talk of that version working with the original, so it really is a no brainer that his content will be on 360. |

Wednesday, September 30, 2009 @ 10:36:36 AM To all those who got rid of the game, this should be a lesson. If you are prone to get rid of a game, don't buy it until it's been out for a couple years... Damn you, nickel-and-dime DLC! |

Wednesday, September 30, 2009 @ 10:51:02 AM Hmm. I'm going to wait to see if this episode is actually any good. It better include Wesker in more than just an ending cutscene. |

Wednesday, September 30, 2009 @ 11:10:32 AM @ 10 Yeah it's about as long as the full game is, S-nap. But yeah I'd love to get a 2 hour episode as dlc as long as the price isn't too bad and it comes with some delicious achievements. |

Wednesday, September 30, 2009 @ 11:16:28 AM I wish companies would announce their DLC plans at the same time they release the game. I'm sick and tired of getting rid of games when I still haven't played all it has to offer because at the time of purchase, all it has to offer isn't all it has to offer. ¬.¬ |

Wednesday, September 30, 2009 @ 11:25:52 AM olol. I don't sell games so I get brownie points for being able to get this. Please make PS3 owners pay more for it (controller), and make it extra juicy with horror, as I haven't played anything that has made me turn away/puke/piss myself/lol. |

Wednesday, September 30, 2009 @ 11:33:39 AM they should have included it in the original, would have made it better than it was, it was pretty bad in my opinion, even though i got it 1st day. |

Wednesday, September 30, 2009 @ 11:34:17 AM DLC is pretty much lose/ lose as far as when it is announced...certain games have DLC announced early, like Mass Effect, only to have it take forever, so you hold onto a game you beat, waiting, and waiting. Other games, Like Too Human, have DLC "hints" in the game itself (a frickin DLC store), yet it never shows up (as far as I know...I waited and finally got rid of it). Some games just drop stuff on you out of the blue, which angers you because you didn't know it was coming! No matter what, if it's added content for a good game, I am all for it. |
|
 | Comment #22 by ScuzzyBunny FTN
Wednesday, September 30, 2009 @ 11:36:31 AM ...oh, and one thing I absolutely HATE about current DLC practices, is updating a games achvs too early! Halo 3 had 1750 almost a year before it was possible to get it, and Star Wars TFU was about 2 months before the last content. Update XBL a week or so before, not months in advance! |

Wednesday, September 30, 2009 @ 12:13:25 PM @23 - i agree. How could anyone think this game sucked? Aside from Sheeva's AI, and the stupid extra achievements for a horrible online experience,it was great. |

Wednesday, September 30, 2009 @ 12:17:25 PM RE5 wasn't a bad game, but if you've played every Resident Evil game and thought that RE5 lived up to it's potential...I don't know what to tell you. They've been setting up a Chris vrs. Wesker game since RE1 and you can breeze through the conflict in less than 4 hours. The game was way too short and not nearly scary enough. This game has needed an extra 2 hours of gameplay since the day it was released. Oh, and the multiplayer sucks. |

Wednesday, September 30, 2009 @ 01:14:54 PM RE5 was not a bad game it just wasnt a good RE game. add that to the fact that sheeva was a pain in the ass when cpu controlled, and it made it a mediocre game at best. i couldnt stand to play this alone so once my friend got rid of it so did i. |

Wednesday, September 30, 2009 @ 01:23:41 PM I'd rather play with the controller anyhow. The only reason I preferred the wiimote for 4 was because the cube doesn't have dual analogs. (for that game) |

Wednesday, September 30, 2009 @ 01:57:07 PM This sounds awesome. Let's hope we get 2 hours of classic Resident Evil scares and atmosphere. It can't be any worse than what the main game turned out to be like. And #30, I agree with you 100%. The game was a real kick in the teeth of old Resident Evil fans. |

Wednesday, September 30, 2009 @ 03:11:26 PM Really enjoyed RE5, sounds like the new level is going back to it's roots with "more horror". I'll surely download if it's made downloadable. If I have to buy a disc? We shall see... |

Wednesday, September 30, 2009 @ 03:18:54 PM It better be a DLC I am not buying a disc for 2 hours of gameplay. Unless it's like a directors cut special edition with more multiplayer content. |

Wednesday, September 30, 2009 @ 03:24:56 PM Resident Evil games are ever so slowly creeping away from it's core ideas and gameplay. I miss backtracking when you find different items and unlocking new areas. They're just making this game more action orientated so more people buy it. Don't get me wrong I loved Resident Evil 4 and this one was ok, but i'd love to see the new one be more like Resident Evil 2 and the previous installments. |

Wednesday, September 30, 2009 @ 04:28:23 PM Hopefully this new mission will take on the persona of an RE or RE2 and a thrill to play. I liked RE5 and 4 as they weren't too bad, but I prefer a much slower game like the other games in the series. I will be getting this if it comes to the 360. I'm not sure what is on the horizon for RE6, but if what Jun Takeuchi is true, then 6 will be going back to its roots. |

Wednesday, September 30, 2009 @ 04:49:02 PM I agree #48, it's more action movie now rather than survival horror. Gone are the days of soft piano music and holding a pistol with only a few rounds left with the fear of something lurking behind the next door. |

Wednesday, September 30, 2009 @ 05:19:25 PM I'm sorry but this series has fallen way too far from its roots for me to get excited about it anymore. It is not remotely like what it used to be. While 4&5 were great games in their own right, they should have been a totally different franchise and kept the original formula for Resident Evil titles IMHO. |

Wednesday, September 30, 2009 @ 07:19:05 PM i hated this game. they killed the story in this one and i hated the "forced" co-op. the game had potential but to me they ruined RE with this game. the story made NO DAMN SENSE! did anyone like the multiplayer? and dont say "for the achievements"...did anyone actually Enjoy the multiplayer? sorry for writing alot :P |

Wednesday, September 30, 2009 @ 07:28:01 PM #48, I agree. I liked 1-3 where you pretty much are in a static environment. The level system and removal of puzzles pretty much turned it into just another 3rd person shooter. The story is what I like and will keep me coming back but the 1st game is what hooked me. I'd love to see them re-release 1-3 with the 3rd person perspectives instead of fixed cameras. I guess 0 also but I never played that one. |

Wednesday, September 30, 2009 @ 07:35:17 PM such an amazing game. i'm thinking about selling this game. buts its such a classic. you know what. i am not. i really hope when they say "and players can expect more horror than anything on show in RE5." they really mean it because i did not get scared in RE5. so come on capcom. make it scary! the only games that have made me jump were bioshock, and fear2. oohh and the suffering for ps2. |
