Army of Two: The 40th Day Interview with Matt Turner

Army of Two: The 40th Day Interview with Matt Turner
Written Saturday, September 26, 2009 by Dan Webb

Earlier on this the week we head out to EA's base in Surrey to check out a handful of their upcoming late 2009/early 2010 titles - namely Army of Two: The 40th Day, The Saboteur and Brutal Legend.

On hand throughout the day was Army of Two 2's *sniggers* Producer, Matt Turner, to answer a few questions about the game. Take a look as we talk, amongst other things, the morality system, an AOT2 demo, DLC, organic co-op, weapon customisation, why they region locked AOT1 and of course, tutus.

@#5 - I would assume so seeing it was at EA. I'd be worried if it was PES 2010 =P

it's not that the first game was bad...it just didn't have any more co-op stuff than gears of war. I'm still on the fence about this one. I really hope they put out a demo. I'll admit, the weapon customization was cool, but I want to have choices. In AOT, you bought a barrel, and then a better barrel. I want some options, longer range vs rate of fire vs damage or something. I also want to see co-op moves besides the step-jump.

Cant wait for this. I pre-ordered the second cause the guy at Gamestop seemed desprate for reserves, I hadn't even played the 1st so he told me to buy it as well lol. Gotta say, glad I listened to him XD

cant wait till Jan 9th

The only bad thing is the release date. It is going to cut into my mass effect 2 time.

Downloadable content - achievements or no achievements - will you buy it with or without them?
If the content is good, or for a game I love, I'll buy it regardless of whether chievos are included
I'll still buy and play the downloadable content, but achievements would be nice.
Who the hell cares!?
No achievements, no sale ... and that goes for any game ... whether you're GTA or Halo!
Just stop with the DLC achievements full stop ... you're ruining my completion percentage dammit!
