Arkham Asylum's Second Free DLC Pack Now Available, But Only in Europe

Eidos today announced their latest free downloadable content pack for Batman: Arkham Asylum. The second map pack, Prey in the Darkness, offers two new downloadable Challenge Maps and is in fact, available for download now.

"In the ‘Heart of Darkness’ FreeFlow™ Combat map, players will battle a mob of relentless and maniacal enemies at the Arkham Pumping Station. Even the most seasoned Batman: Arkham Asylum player will enjoy stepping into the boots of BATMAN to take down increasingly difficult waves of insane inmates. In the ‘Hothouse Prey’ Invisible Predator™ map, players will have to rely on their Predator instincts to silently and effectively take down enemies at the Abandoned Glasshouse."

Interestingly, the content is only available in Europe and those of you in North America that want to pick it up, you'll need a PS3 and the PS3 version. Either that or you'll need a European account of some sort, but we have no idea how you'd be able to do that...

I live in iceland and i cant download anything from Xbl that is 15+ material like gears map packs and stuff.. lucky me i got it on the ps3 anyways :P

the US does get the majority of support, but I say just release everything equally across the board. Content, games, videos, demos.... everything. Why hand pick and choose what region gets what and when in this increasingly shrinking world. If I can connect to people in Australia, the UK, Japan... why shouldn't we be able to play the same game at the same time? Should they really have to wait months to get stuff that the US usually has? NO they shouldn't. Good to see you are getting something we don't.

Let Sony have this and the joker, this is a great game but the replayability is low IMO. The challenge maps were fun and the campaign was great but, I can't keep playing challenge maps over and over, its not that fun to me.

The reason Sony is getting the exclusives is because Sony has part of the rights to DC (hence why they are making the DC Universe mmo). Hopefully the exclusives will only be timed and be released later on XBL (probably not free).

Its so easy to make a European account. Just go to XBOX.com and sign up for a new gamercard, tell it your from Europe and then recover the gamertag on your console. I did this to get an American account and a Japanese account. (It was the proudest thing I had ever done with my 360)!

WTF? how come ps3 is getting all the free dlc before us? they got darth vader on SC4 and now the joker for this.
i wanna play as vader without having to pay for him and i wanna play as joker too. who wants yoda 4 SC4 when you can play as the dark lord? still how come the 360 is getting the shaft on the dlc for this game? im tired of all this *exclusive* crap.

Hey Europeans get fucked on a daily basis with DLCs I spend time between Manhattan,NYC,US(mostly in Manhattan) and Gamiz,Spain and Sydney,Australia and when I play Xbox there it's a whole different world be thankful for what ya got in the US guys cause if you think it sucks its worse over there and even more fucked in Australia shame cause Aussies Rock
