A contradiction. "Crash Course DLC Coming Tomorrow." Then "Will be made available worldwide on September 29."
Needs to be fixed. There are 10 new achievements coming too btw. |

There has been no word on what the achievements will be, but the achievement counter in game (after the update) now reads x/60 implying that 10 will come with the DLC. |

No achievements, still a sell. More achievements, even better sell. 560 MSP weird number but ok. I just want all three. It just seems like there will be a gap between all 4 Campaigns. Can not wait for the contradiction, either tomorrow or the 29th. |

Despite the latest messing up the in-game achievement tracker, there is still no news on what the achievements will be. Adding achievements is essential for DLC to maximise sales, since it hooks the achievement whores. |

Wait... I thought the point of L4D was that there *wasn't* a running story? That each act was just set up like a separate thriller "film", with the same characters against the same zombies in a different environment. Sooo... why do we need to "bridge the gap", if no one even plays this for plot?
Also, I don't think they're going to do very well with their plans of "release a sequel, but keep updating both the old and new". Sorry Valve, but most of us gamers don't work that way, unless the new one just blows chunks. That's the options you got on the table. |

pass.... big freakin pass they got a new game coming out by the end of the year, and almost a YEAR later than the original... nice that they are still adding DLC, but too little too late, and Microsoft has the grapefriuts to charge for this... HAHA its like a worm on a hook, and there are way too many bites, thats why they keep putting the line in the water. |

I don't see why everyone is in such an uproar about paying for this DLC when people forked over much more money for a few extra maps for Halo 3 and GOW2, then Bungie creates an Expansion pack, adds in the last 3 maps to get the rest of the achievements in Halo 3 and sells it for $60 and no one is protesting Bungie but you call Valve crooks. |

#40, boycott MS, then, because they put the requirement out there.
#36, audio that's buried in the PC version reveals that there was supposed to be video segments that bridged the gap between all the campaigns. Some footage was pre-rendered for the beta. Playtesting in beta revealed that testers were really bummed out by the experience of going through the entire level, to be rescued and then their rescuers get infected or offed. It was really negative, so they dropped the idea, and all the effort to render the footage with it. But the audio from those situations exist. See YouTube, if it hasn't all been taken down. |

Yes, there are 10 new achievements. If you download the update for this game, you'll see there are now 60 achievements (sadly, they have not been yet revealed)

I find it funny how they say; "This will bridge the gap between the No Mercy and the Death Toll campaign." Hmm so after Death Toll its Last Stand and as we all know. . . it doesn't end well lol, so what about Blood Harvest and Dead Air?

All these people moaning that the game has been out a year and they still releasing DLC i think this is genious because it gets people to play older games again rather than collecting dust on shelves. Just think how many 100s or 1000s of pounds/dollars do you spend on games which you have now wasted as you dont play them anymore so good on them for trying to get people to still play older games. Also it can be for you to familiarise yourselves with the game again before L4d2 release so quit whining when you know in the end you will buy it! |
