I don't think that this game deserves that high of a rating, but I would say that this game is as near-perfect as we are going to see for a while!
Good deal on all of this. I have been wanting to get the Xbox version since my PC version runs so-so. |

So people who have bought all 5 off the marketplace get a theme worth what was it, £3, something like that.
But this costs £40, saving people who haven't something like £32. |

your crazy this game deserves a rating of 5001.978% its the best game i have ever played. The only way it could have been better if there was some multiplayer. They could have all players indestructable, and your getting tossed around like rag dolls while people are hitting you with rockit launchers, firing teddy bears! |

Less than a year later the GotY edition comes out with all of the DLCs for the price of the original game. At $15 a pop for each DLC, that's $135! There's only 2 DLCs I didn't buy, but I know I'll patiently wait for the GotY to just rent it instead.
For now on, any game with a ton of DLCs, I'll just wait to rent the bundled disc. Much like the GTA IV:Episodes or whatever. $40 on episodes, or just rent the bundled disc for $5. Hmmm... |

@31 Gamestop release dates are never confirmed. Those aren't definite until the game company actually says it's "been dated" just like this article.
Games like Alan Wake have had maybe 5 different release dates on Gamestop now. lol. |

To anyone wondering about how the extra content is going to work - from what I've been reading at work, it seems the GOTY is going to come with two discs - one for the original game and one with all of the DLC on it.
You will need to install the DLC on to your hard drive and play with the original disc in the tray - so basically, we're all paying for not having to spend hours waiting for the downloads to complete.
Also (and there may be something to counter-act this) it sounds almost like people can just install the DLC and then not need that disc again ... leading to perhaps sharing discs among friends? |

Now I will finally buy this. I noticed that this Fallout 3 GOTY is actually breaking the Xbox LIVE regulations since it has 1750G in the retail disc already when the regulation told "The extra gamerscores can only come from downloadable content".
But this has happened before. In the Japanese version of Gears Of War 2 there are 1750G in just one disc without any downloadable content. |
