Microsoft Announces the Modern Warfare 2 Limited Edition Console Bundle Written Tuesday, September 15, 2009 by Dan Webb At a Modern Warfare 2 multiplayer event in LA today, Microsoft and Infinity Ward announced their Limited Edition bundle, available for pre-order now. The Modern Warfare 2 Limited Edition bundle includes a "custom designed console, 250 GB hard drive, two wireless controllers and a standard edition of Modern Warfare 2 for US $399.99." Fifty percent bigger (180) would have seemed more understandable. Soon we will have a 500GB Xbox 360 and then we will have the 1TB Xbox 720. If Xbox 360 has gone 12x bigger in terms of space (20gb to 250gb), this would lead us to have a 12TB Xbox 720 someday, although it wouldn't be necessary. This console will look even more turd laid out properly, but standing it up is just begging to make mince meat of your discs. Them games on demand are like 1GB+ i've already downloaded a few of them and have used up 5GB... and when Project Natal comes out, who knows how much space that will use up.
