With the upcoming AFL Legacy Pack (due out September 24th for 560 MSP), five new achievements for an additional 150 gamerscore have been added to Madden 10 for a total of 1150.

| I will most likely re-rent Madden and pick up this pack as well, but I definitely fear the trend we are setting. If sales of this pack go too well, EA might start leaving even MORE out of the games, and charging you for them. This version of Madden was, by far, the most stripped down version, as even difficulty levels were "DLC only" for online play. My other concern is that while I don't mind paying for map packs I can use/ re-use for the duration of a good shooter (usually a 2-3 yr lifespan before a sequel), in less than a year there will be Madden 11, with more DLC. | ||

| EA is so pathetic because they copy other companies like epic with their dlc coming out when the game isn't even 1 month old yet. Only 150 points in this pack means they are coming out with more packs just like epic did. Both companies copy each other with the horrible lag of online play. | First off, I agree with #55. Secondly, I don't really understand why many people like completions. I am nearly obsessed with completions, and as such they make me go back to games I have yet to finish because I KNOW they aren't finished. But when you have (choose, whatever) to pay money for extra content because it means you don't have the game finished anymore, it becomes an annoyance. I'm not complaining about this game, because I like Madden games. This is directed towards games that use the DLC system as the game's saving grace. | I only rent EA sports games, as they have such a bad habit of poor support that I feel robbed if I buy them for full price...Anyone up for some Tiger Woods 06 or NBA Live 06...oh, wait, there is no server any longer! Until EA stops selling crap that expires at the end of a season and charges for crazy stuff like difficulties and day 1 cheat codes, I prefer to use my GF account to play the game as long as I want, rather than making a full purchase, and if I change my mind, they have pretty good discounts on "used" games. | ||

Other than that, every DLC should have achievements in my mind. Worry about gamerscore, not completion percentage. | I'm not concerned about the additional achievements... what I AM concerned about is EA releasing DLC so soon after the release of the game. In my opinion (and I am entitled to one, so there is no need to flame) this year was a wee bit bare bones, especially considering you had to pay DLC for the hard difficulty, it just seems like they are throwing shit out there to make another buck without the quality to back it up. Being that this is only 150 Gamerscore, you can almost guarantee that they will be releasing more DLC to get up to at least 1250.
