I admit to being one of the many who were upset about Kurt being in the game. However, I bet that this is one of two things. Either she's on a huge bender right now with all of her Twitter posts or she was on a huge bender when she gave rights to Activision therefore doesn't remember doing it! Unfortunately, the only way to hurt a major company is in the pocketbook, I just hope she's doing it for the right reasons. But like those above me have mentioned, I have my doubts. |

I find it very hard to believe that such a big company as Activision would have failed to secure the likeness rights to license Cobain's image. They may have the persona of money grabbing bastards, but they strike me as clever enough to cover their own ass on all legal grounds.
I find it much more likely that 'Cobain Enterprises' went and did a deal with Activision and just left Ms Love out of the loop, knowing it would cause a lot of hype and publicity with her mouthing off about lawsuits |

I'm sure he rolled over in his grave upon Activision's announcement of his digital inclusion because that is the last thing he wanted to be: special. As a Portlander, I apologize on behalf of all of us for the actions of Courtney Love since 1988. But if activision made this big a mistake, they deserve to get beaten by a washed up stripper.
It was awkward having Cobain up there, ironic, but so is Nirvana being a cliche, which its been long before plastic instruments. But in the game, they have a feature introducing the song in the menus, and it features Cobain saying "I'm an anti-guitar hero" which makes me wonder, why the hell is he in the game in the first place? |
