Some good songs, but they still need more to beat RB2

they won't beat rb. sure they have a deal where you get gh:vh for free with gh5, but that imo won't be enough to outshine rb:beatles.

they've just got to face that rb is beating them, always has and will.

Dude, Satisfaction by itself beats out all of this week's RB DLC. This is a great start for the game.

"RB is beating them"? For me, one series does not beat the other as I own, play, and support both franchises. Get over your fanboyism.

Yeah, I love Rock Band and guitar hero. And #3, that's not true at all. Guitar Hero has sold way more copies than rock band, and that's been proven financially. Get over yourself.

Anyway, this looks to be good DLC. I got 2 free tracks anyway thanks to the pre-order.

Yes, #7 Rock Band is beating GH. GH has flooded the market with GH games. GH:WT,Aerosmith,Metallica,Van Helen,GH5, Smash Hits,Band Hero and the DS games. Thats way too many games in a short span. Most people are getting tired of GH. i know iam. i cant wait to Play Beatles:Rock Band. They are the Greatest band ever. The game is gonna be EPIC!

DJ hero im still not too sure on, i mean for $140, ill want to at least demo it before i dish that much out for a game.

as for GH 5, the drop in and out function is a nice add-in, makes it better for groups or parties. plus u can use ur avatars in it too, which i hope more gfames will do as well.

i play both GH and RB myself, and i honestly till prefer RB, its the only one i keep going back too time after time. idk why, im just drawn to it moreso than GH.

You know they could actually put some Rolling Stones IN the game, rather then announce DLC before the game is even out...

Just to put things in perspective for people, GH3 beat RB in a poll simply because of the Guitar Hero brand. They outsold Rock Band by a very wide margin. Rock Band 2 vs. GH:WT? Wasn't such a wide margin. Was actually very close.

People bought Guitar Hero because they, foolishly, expected the same game that they had been buying to be made by somebody else. By Rock Band 2, a lot of those people came to their senses and jumped ship to the superior brand. By the time RB:Beatles come around?

Let's just say that there's a reason that Activision is giving away a free GH game with GH5. They know they're on a sinking ship, and they have to do something insanely drastic to get winning numbers.

$119.99 for DJ Hero is still better than $200 for Rock Band Beatles bundle with controllers that are no better than previous ones, just look different.

I like the Benny Benassi announcement, DJ hero just keeps getting better and better.

DJ Hero NEEDS DJ Starscream, AKA Sid Wilson, AKA Slipknot DJ. But we all know that's never going to happen... =(

I wish fanboys would go point their constant spew somewhere else, it always makes me re-consider my purchases of either games.

I like how Guitar Hero is going along with just the Guitar but IS STILL compatible with other instruments. Reminds of GH2 on my old PS2.
