800 points for some more boxers seems a bit steep to me... I would have thought that a 400 point price tag would have been better suited to this considering it doesn't add much to the game. Perhaps some achievements would have been better or a challenge mode to see how quick you can knock out the new boxers with a ramped up difficulty that can't be changed. Or something along those lines.

good god, $10 for a handful of characters that should've been included to begin with. F$#* Epic for starting this "oh we deleted it from the release because it wasn't ready" then calling it additional content when it IS finally released. It's BULLSHIT, this is stuff that either a) got scrapped from the game because the company couldn't meet the timetable, or b) exactly what #2/3/9 said.
bottom line for me is this: 99% of games/hardware/etc. (hell really anything electronic) DEPRECIATES in value, starting immediately. it makes absolutely no sense for the mean price of DLC to be increasing. i bemoaned the price increase on arcade titles for a while, but after playing some of the higher quality ones, i can accept the lengthier, more in-depth titles being pricier than older arcade titl |

but new DLC is getting more expensive and less expansive. the pricing on the map packs for COD/Halo makes sense. they're the most popular online games out there. and their maps are $10. but the recent onslaught of pathetic online DLC for games that no one even plays online is ridiculous. that + the astonishingly terrible "Games on Demand" prices is too much. not sure who the hell devised the price points for "GoD" - bet that's the first time you noticed you'd be downloading games from GoD - but they are ludicrous. Bioshock + Oblivion = $40 for both in stores... $30 each from GoD. is it really worth $20 not to drive to the freaking store? pretty much every game that retails for $19.99 US new is $30, and some other random horseshit like CoD 2 just got a %200 marku |

i mean, remember the good ol' days, when solid arcade games were 800 pts, plus there was the occasional good 400 pter/freebie. and when shitty old games were just shitty old games you paid $7.99 for a used copy, not $30 for a "digital copy" (try loaning that one to a friend). and DLC... another planet in Mass Effect for 5 bucks? yessir. even the dickheads at EA gave a nice chunk of content for Army of Two for 800 pts.
3 new boxers and some new clothes? devs should spend their time more constructively.

| this proves dlc has got out of hand. there creating the dlc before the game is release then bringing loads out after about a month which they clearly have not mind in this time. skate 2 is a perfect example not even a month after release there was 2 DLC packs !! here motto should be, EA, we try our hardest to take ALL of your money |

I like how everyone is bitching that its 800ms point for the DLC that most who are bitching think is stupid to begin with so there is a really and i mean really easy solution to this JUST DON'T BUY IT THEN shit why is that so hard who cares how much it is.
Plus how come no one is mentioning that at least they are giving you some free shit for the button mapping and at least not charging you for that damn people want everything for free.

| Is it just me or does no one else like this game? I love it and I'm glad to see they put out more content after finishing a career to keep playing. Yeah 800mp is quite a bit but that's what it always is for dlc these days. It's pretty rare to see 400 anymore. |

@35, thats because you get more for your money.
on the other hand, this might not be entirely down to EA, licensing boxers would be pretty pricey, but then EA are already swimming in cash, so,... meh, but why did they not include them in the original game, i'd like to see EA avoid that question, and i'd like to see the response they would churn out.
there needs to be common ground established on the pricing for dlc, for example, in my opinion, a few extra fighters is not the same value as a fallout 3 expansion.
but again, no surprises here, EA are money grabbing curnts, they may get my money for games, but not for retard DLC. |
