Halo Waypoint Coming to Xbox Live Written Thursday, July 23, 2009 by Dan Webb So the press release for Microsoft's upcoming Halo anime project, Halo Legends, landed on my desk this afternoon. Whilst it only basically said what I reported this morning, there was one little gem mixed in that was brand spanking new, and that is the upcoming Halo hub on Xbox Live where you'll find everything Halo. "A preview of select “Halo Legends” episodes will first debut on Xbox LIVE, the largest gaming and entertainment network in the world, starting this fall through a new experience called Halo Waypoint. Launching in fall, Halo Waypoint will be a new destination for “Halo” fans on Xbox LIVE around the world. It will inform fans of the latest “Halo” news and activities, and grants access to content ranging from podcasts, trailers and screenshots, to exclusive video footage you won’t find anywhere else. It also will provide a new challenge for “Halo” gamers with a career system and player rankings tied to both in-game and out-of-game accomplishments related to “Halo.” In addition to the limited, early episode premieres, Halo Waypoint will debut several behind-the-scenes videos that chronicle the making of "Halo Legends."" Quite the Halo-addict's wildest dreams come true then? I thinks so. | |

And 1 game coming out in the Fall and another 1 announced for 2010. Badly designed maps coupled with an arrogant community of whiny pre-pubescents and older people who should be at work or with another physical being killed any kind of hope I had for the series. I thought the singleplayer/co-op was decent. It was fun to play through, but the story is laughably bad. And before anyone complains, this is my opinion. So shut up and get over it. |

Bonus tracks were awesome, same as the second. GH WT: Some of the tracks we're insane, and it had SINGING AND DRUMMING! ZOMFG! A lot of the tracks, although, we're duds, but i loved how you could make your own songs, but a bit confusing :P, but it was still awesome regardless. ALL MASTER TRACKS! Was expecting Led Zeppelin though XD. GH: Metallica: Awesome, awesome to the max. Great bonus bands along with the most AWESOME songs that have been waited to be put on this game (master of puppets, ride the lightning, etc.) and they we're all mastertracks! |

Halo wars "a bad strategy game". I admit, yes it was slightly feeble, compared with some of the newer ones that came out, but you do realise it is for people who can't see strategy and think the best strategy is "Yeh, I build biggest weapon and go pwn some noobs". I understand fans of games will demand a sequel but at least change it for the better, I doubt COD4-2 is going to be less then original. I'm not saying original content is what makes a game good but it definitely is a refreshment, which is why COD4 was a good change for the series at the time and why I loved the first gears (I refuse the play the second). Original content is nice and so far all I'm looking forward to is Brutal legend and about 5 more sequels. Assassins Creed 2, Bioshock 2, Modern warfare 2, Left 4 Dead 2, Halo 3-2, the list goes on, I'm beginning to think for the next few years all we'll be seeing are rehashes of our favorite series. |
